Pop Chronik – Flying Burrito Brothers

LP (Item 116640) A&M (Germany), Late 60s/Early 70s — Condition: Sealed
2LP
A really great collection, and one that features material that wasn't on the classic first two albums, but was issued later! Titles include "Christine's Tune", "Sin City", "Man In The Fog", "White Line Fever", "Pick Me Up On Your way Down", "Six Days On The Road", "Money Honey", "Here Tonight", "Payday", "High Fashion Queen", "Lazy Days", "Hand To Mouth", "Sing Me Back Home", "Beat The Heat", and "Ain't That A Lot Of Love".  © 1996-2022, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Sealed

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Cat Stevens' most soulful moment! Long before he changed his name – and started setting his sights on Salman Rushdie – Cat Stevens decided to atone for the wrongdoings of previous A&M albums with this album! A hell of a record from Supertramp – the set that catapulted them into global stardom after a late 70s run of really great, but overlooked albums! The album is a pure pop masterpiece all the way through – catchy tunes with slightly deeper ideas – a nice sense of striving in the ... LP, Vinyl record album
