Used CD Grade

We use the all-encompassing grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs because we only buy and offer used CDs in the best possible condition.

When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or defects we describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs), so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.

All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

Condition Notes

If something is relevant, we try to describe it in the notes — especially if it is release or packaging details, or an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the CD. This might include, but isn't limited to, scratches, tracks that skip, case/insert damage or wear, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Reads His Poetry
Takoma, 1972. Used
Charles Bukowski in all his glory – reading his own material before a very lively (and probably lubricated!) audience – bringing all his own vocal tones into play with his earthy writing – which makes us love the words even more than in printed form! The set was recorded in San ... CD
Dot, Late 50s. Used
A crazy batch of jazz-meets-beat poetry-meets-goofy stuff. Ken Nordine's wit is razor sharp as usual, and the tracks include "What Time Is It", "Sound Museum", "Down The Drain", and "Faces In The Jazzamatazz". Like taking drugs without the hassle! CD

Takashi Miyasaka

Soul Tomato
Aketa's Disk/Ultra Vybe (Japan), 1982. Used
Drummer Takashi Miyasaka works here with a great little group – one that has touches of some of the Japanese fusion modes of the period, but which mostly sticks to a more straight ahead sound – really bridging the two styles in a really great way! Part of the energy comes from Takashi's ... CD
Ace (UK), Mid 60s. Used
Beautiful work from The Paris Sisters – one of the coolest, grooviest girl groups of the 60s – and one who've got a sound that's really a cut above most of their contemporaries! There's something strangely sinister about this trio – not just the sweet sounds you might expect, but ... CD
