✨✧ FUKDetroit 1977 – Road Kill/I Got A Head ... 7-inch
HoZac, 1977. New Copy (pic cover, reissue)... Out Of Stock
A late 70s punk era single by FUK (F––d Up Kids) – a short-lived Detroit group with vocalist/lyricist Sue Rynski & a pre-Mission Of Burma Roger Miller handling all the instrumentation! This is purportedly the only couple songs they ever recorded, and it's pretty incredible! Both tracks are in a rawer, more sneering and feral punkish mode than the finely-honed postpunk Miller would do with Mission Of Burma, but his playing is recognizable in the kind of steely, tense tone, which gives this a totally unique sound for the time. Rynski's vocals are great, too, wild and brash all the way! 7-inch, Vinyl record

✨✧ LowlifeLeaders/White Lightning/Thinking Natural ... 7-inch
HoZac, Late 70s. New Copy (pic cover, reissue)... Out Of Stock
Vital roar from late 70s Canada by Lowlife – maybe the first ever punk band from Winnipeg! Given the monsters pictured on the sleeve, you might think "Leaders" would be super gnarly, but it's a pretty hooky track, though plenty raw. "White Lightning" isn't a punk version of the George Jones tune, but another high flying Lowlife original, and it does have a little bit of rootsy fuel to the guitar and bass, maybe inspired by X...not an inspiration we'd ever complain about if so! "Thinking Natural" slays, too. 7-inch, Vinyl record
