The album's bubbling over with lively groovers – arrangements handled by Erlon Chaves and Cesar Mariano, perfect for Wilson's soulful vocals, and the unique mix of soul, samba, and groovy he was working in at the time. The record features a killer take on Marcos Valle's "Mustang Cor De Sangue", the classic "Silva Lenheira", and the cuts "Meninha Do Portao", "Silencio", "What You Say", "Moca", and "Mulher De Malandro". An early dose of samba soul from the great Wilson Simonal – a set that's almost as important to his career as late 60s work for Jorge Ben! Like Ben, Simonal's music has a great blend of the rootsy and the groovy – raspy vocals that are overflowing with soul, supported by lively orchestrations from Cesar Camargo Mariano – leaping along with lots of jazzy touches, and a fair bit of organ and piano that further enhance the grooves of the tracks!
