Karen's big cut, the only one we'll remember her for, and a big campy track in its day. Served up here on an original WestEnd single, with vocal and instrumental versions both stretching past the 8 minute mark. 12-inch, Vinyl record
One of the most baroque singles we've ever heard from Taana Gardner – a long number that starts out with a spare and spacey vocal on the first minute or two, then which suddenly leaps into a tightly-crafted uptempo groove – running for over 10 minutes, and featuring lots of instrumental solo work in between Taana's vocal madness! Mixed by Larry Levan, too. 12-inch, Vinyl record
The old school classic, recorded around the same time as Tanya Gardner's "Heartbeat", for the same label, with that track as the basis to the whole groove. Very similar to the original, but with a rap track over the top. 12-inch, Vinyl record
(In a pink West End sleeve, with some ringwear and bent corners.)
An undisputed classic! The funky grooves of this early 80s single by Taana make it our favorite by her – and it's a non-stop killer that's served up here in a 9 and 6 minute version. Used as the sample for "Buddy" by De La Soul, and for a whole bunch of other tracks too! 12-inch, Vinyl record
