The now classic cuts off Only Built 4 Cuban Linx wiith partner in rhyme Ghostface – spitting over some of grittiest, greatest beats in the RZA canon! Loud/Get On Down, 1995. New Copy (pic cover, reissue)... $9.99 12.98
Two tracks from Only Built For Cuban Linx – a standout early Wu Tang solo effort and a record that stands to this day still one of the best Wu-associated LP ever!. Production from RZA at the height of his skills. "Ice Cream" , features Ghost Face, Method Man, and Cappadonna and is one of the funnier hip hop "love songs" of the period – "I love you like I love my d*** size"?! "Incarcerated Scarfaces" is the more serious minded flip. 7-inch, Vinyl record

Loud/RCA/Get On Down, 1995. New Copy ... $56.99 59.98
Chef Raekwon cooks up one of finest hip hop albums in history – a standout moment in the Wu Tang canon and the 90s in general – issued here as as a tinted purple cassette in a fancy watch box to mark the 20th anniversary of the record's original releases! As for Cuban Linx itself – given Ghostface's presence throughout, the prime RZA production and other top shelf guests, you could almost call this one a Wu Tang Clan album, if not for Raekwon's incredible leadership behind the mic – a real masterpiece from Wu Tang's most collaborative era. Guests include Nas, Method Man, Inspektah Deck and more from the Wu Tang family. An absolute standard-bearer! Titles include "Spot Rusherz", "Can It Be All So Simple", "Knuckleheadz", "Criminology", "Ice Water", "Wisdom Body", and "Wu-Gambinos". The tape comes housed in a premium "watch box" display case with a 100+ page hardcover book – and all THAT comes in solid outer box with the original cover art. Cassette

The second solo album by The Chef – a record that had hard time finding space outside the massive shadow of his first solo landmark Only Built 4 Cuban Linx – and like other Wu Tang solo albums of the era, there's a number of gems on here that really never had a chance to get over a bar set set so high. Doom (MF Doom)Born Like This ... LP
Lex, 2009. New Copy 2LP ... $29.99 30.98
Doom is back, sans the MF prefix, fully loaded with funky sci fi hip hop that's fit to shake the heavens – his first record in far too long, and a strong one! We don't know where the masked man holed himself up in the couple years before this set, nor do we pay much attention to the rumors and gossip (he's locked up! he's sending out imposters!), but it doesn't matter, as he's come back sharp. We hear less Marvel Comics in the beats, and more spacey, blunt funk – particularly on the handful of tracks that have additional instrumentation by Mr Chop – with guests including Raekwon, Ghostface, Slug, Bumpy Knuckles, Posdnous & Prince Paul – plus additional production by Dilla, Madlib, and Jake One! There's some great stuff here, and whether the guy is truly certifiable or if it's all a put on, we love 'em either way. Stay close by, Doom! Titles include "Gazzilion Ear", "Ballskin", "Lightworks", "Batty Boyz", "Rap Ambush", "Stil Dope", "Microwave Mayo", "Supervillainz", "Bumpy's Message" and more. LP, Vinyl record album

Epic, 2001. Near Mint- 2LP ... $2.99
Ghostface's follow up to Supreme Clientele – a tough predecessor to live up, no doubt about that – but Bulletproof Wallets is still a cut or 10 above some of the Wu work of the later 90s and early 00s! The single "Ghost Showers" is a great track, and "Never Be The Same Again" with Raekwon and Carl Thomas is another killer cut – others titles include "Flowers" with Method Man & Superb, "Jealousy", "The Juks" feat Trife & Superb, "Walking Through Darkness" feat Takitha, "The Hilton", "Ice" and more. Ghostface Killah & Adrian YoungeTwelve Reasons To Die 2 (deluxe 6 x 7" box set) ... 7-inch
Linear Labs, 2015. New Copy 6x7 inch box set ... $79.99 99.98
The superior sequel to Ghostface Killah & Adrian Younge's Twelve Reasons To Die saga – cementing the mid teens Ghostface creative resurgence in a major way –in a beautiful limited editon 7-inch box set edition! The album itself is a stunning reminder of how sharp Ghostface can be this late in the game when he's really feeling it, and he's a gracious host here, too – collaborating with Raekwon on the mic throughout the record, even featuring some moody narration by RZA – and seriously impressive guest appearances by Scarab, Lyrics Born, Chino XL and Bilal. There's a real mythology to the project, with a loose, but genuinely compelling narrative arc – combining prime Wu school crime noir rhymes and soundtrack funk production inspired by giallo, Blacksploitation and Younge's own distinct genius. Includes "Powerful One", "Daily News", "Return Of The Savage" with Raekwon & RZA, ,"Death's Invitation" with Scarab, Lyrics Born and Chino XL, "King Of New York", "Let The Record Spin" and "Blackout" with Raekwon, "Resurrection Morning" with Raekwon and Bilal and "Life's A Rebirth" with RZA. The limited edition 6 X 7" box set edition comes in a great, textured box emblazoned with the Linear Labs logo. J DillaJay Stay Paid ... LP
Nature Sounds, 2009. New Copy 2LP ... Just Sold Out!
An excellent full length set of beats & genius from J Dilla – put together by fellow beatmaker extraordinaire Pete Rock, with all Dilla beats – a surprising triumph! Call us jaded, but honestly, we weren't sure how deep the well could go of ready-to-go beats from Dilla, but this stuff is truly top shelf – nearly as strong as the instant classic Donuts from a few years back! Pete Rock crafts the set as if it's a radio show or mixtape, but his skill in so doing is well above and beyond the norm – neither Pete's interjections nor the guest rappers ever get in the way of the flow, it's as smooth as can be. Vocal guests include Ma Dukes (the album was made under Ma's auspices), plus Lil Fame & MOP, Black Thought, Frank Nitty of Frank N Dank, Doom, Illa J & Cue D, Blu, and others. Titles include "King", "I Told Yall", "Smoke" feat Blu, "CaDILLAc". "Fire Wood Drumstix" feat Doom, "Big Day", "24K Rap" feat Havoc of Mobb Deep & Raekwon, "Coming Back", "Mythsysizer" and more. 27 tracks in all, about an hour of unreleased Dilla! If you'll forgive us a little bit of repetition – because we KNOW we've written this before – there's just something extra riveting about Madlib's production work for straight shooting, street lingo slinging, no nonsense MCs. The freewheeling inspiration and bottomless depth of unpredictable sample funk is there, as always. It's leaner, tighter and with a thicker backdrop of beats.
