Mississippi SheiksComplete Recorded Works In Chronological Order – Volume 4 ... LP
Document/Third Man, Early/Mid 1930s. Near Mint- ... $16.99
If you've never got the concept of a string band, this is the record to really illuminate your ears – as it features a beautiful set of stripped-down sides by the Mississippi Sheiks – all recorded in the early 30s, and a wonderful blend of bluesy inflection and folksy roots! Most tracks just features guitar, violin, and some especially great vocals – pushed with lots of delta-styled elements on the edges, but set to music that's got plenty of touches from the other side of the fence. The blend is wonderful, and the set features tracks recorded in Grafton, Wisconsin in July of 1932, Chicago in June of 1933, and San Antonio in 1934. Titles include "New Shake That Thing", "Don't Wake It Up", "Kitty Cat Blues", "Show Me What You Got", "Hitting The Numbers", "Pencil Won't Write No More", "I Am The Devil", "She's Got Something Crazy", and more. ✨✧ Mississippi Fred McDowellI Do Not Play No Rock N Roll ... LP
Capitol, 1970. Very Good ... Out Of Stock
An incredible record from Mississippi Fred McDowell – a set that was issued on a big label, but which has a wonderfully rootsy feel throughout – in a way that almost out-does any work from the indie blues labels of the time! The package was put together by Tommy Couch as an early Malaco production – but it's even more stripped-down than later blues work from those studios – as it features mostly just Fred on vocals and guitar, introducing himself and his music – then working through these incredible inflections on electric guitar, which are as far from the rockish sound of all the crossover blues that McDowell promises he won't provide in the title! Really timeless stuff, brilliantly recorded – with cuts that include "Red Cross Store", "61 Highway", "Jesus Is On The Mainline", "Kokomo Me Baby", and "Good Morning Little School Girl". LP, Vinyl record album
(Lime green label stereo pressing. Cover has some ring and edge wear, small split in the bottom seam, and smudges in back. Labels have some yellowing from age.)

✨✧ BB KingIndianola Mississippi Seeds ... LP
ABC, 1970. Very Good Gatefold ... $14.99
BB King hips up his groove a bit here – picking up some of the crossover soul and rock touches used by contemporaries over at Chess/Cadet, and expanding his sound with a range of guests that include Leon Russell, Joe Walsh, and Carole King! Despite the presence of these bigger names, the set's very much in BB's own spirit – mostly focused on his vocals and guitar work, and still mostly including original compositions. A few tunes get nice and funky on the rhythms, although still very much in a blues-based way – and Jimmie Haskell contributes a few larger arrangements from time to time. Titles include "King's Special", "Until I'm Dead & Cold", "You're Still My Woman", "Hummingbird", "Go Underground", and "Chains & Things". LP, Vinyl record album

Bash, 1979. Very Good ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
Rough-edged blues from the Chicago scene – recorded at the end of the 70s, but with a sound that's gritty enough to be from years past! The group's a small one – with Hayes Ware on guitar and vocals, Billy Branch on harmonica, and additional bass and drums – and the tunes are short and to the point, with a small club sort of approach. Titles include "Ghetto Woman", "Blues Rock", "Sound Of The Clock", "Searching For Love", "Gold Mine", and "Fishing". LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ John Lee HookerBorn In Mississippi – Raised Up In Tennessee ... LP
ABC, 1973. Very Good+ ... Out Of Stock
Born in Mississippi, raised in Tennessee, but recorded in California with some mighty great grooves! The album's a great mix of the rootsy blues of John Lee Hooker and some of the best production modes ABC Records was using at the time – no hoke or attempt to dampen the energy of the core music – but just the key addition of fresh elements from players who include Clifford Coulter on piano, Sugarcane Harris on violin, Oscar Brashear on trumpet, Mel Brown on bass, George Bohannon on trombone, and John Klemmer on electrified sax with effects! These players all have a great ear for messing up jazz, blues, soul, and funk – and help Hooker to make the set one of his hippest ever – a record that nods strongly at the new generation, yet never panders to it at all. Titles include "Younger Stud", "King Of The World", "Tell Me You Love Me", and "Going Down". LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ Harmonica FrankHarmonica Frank ... LP
Mississippi, Early 1950s. Near Mint- ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
Amazing work from Harmonica Frank – an artist who recorded these firey sides for Sun Records in the early 50s! Frank's got this offbeat style that's definitely blues at the core, but which also has links to some of the novelty modes of the Appalachian scene – as he's not afraid to go for a gimmick at some moments, especially in the way he plays his harmonica along with the guitar! Yet overall, Frank's music is plenty bluesy – so much so that he's often been lumped with older blues musicians by collectors, who couldn't tell the vintage or race of the artists from his original singles. Titles include two versions of the classic "Howlin Tom Cat" – plus "Monkey Love", "Great Medical Menagerist", "She Done Moved", "Rockin Chair", "Swamp Rat", and "Goin Away Walkin". ✨✧ Jessie Mae HemphillJessie Mae Hemphill ... LP
Mississippi, Late 70s/Early 80s. Near Mint- ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
Excellent work from Jesse Mae Hemphill – a female blues talent who lay undiscovered for many years in Mississippi, then burst forth late in her life with a fantastic run of sounds like this! Most of the tunes are relatively spare – with Jessie Mae playing electric guitar in these hypnotic passages that cascade and revolve around one another – while she sings in this way that's almost harmonic in relation to her instrument. The approach is a bit like Howlin Wolf, but made very much Hemphill's own on these tracks – and titles include "Standing In My Doorway Crying", "Take Me Home With You Baby", "Crawdad Hole", "Bullyin Well", "Brokenhearted Blues", "Go Back To Your Used To Be", "Shake It Baby", and "Tell Me You Love Me". Mississippi/Little Axe, 2011. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Timeless sounds from Lewlewal – a contemporary group from Senegal, and part of a vanishing culture in the city of Podor! The tracks were recorded recently, but have a feel that goes back decades – mostly acoustic instrumentation on percussion and guitar, played with an intimate approach that draws strongly on tradition – but which also allows for some personal inflections from the group members too. The vocals – sung by Demba Doka Barry – are especially nice – with this hauntingly soulful feel that really grabs us, even over the space of a language difference. Titles include "Ziarre", "Patrimonie", "Jaanfa", "Diaraby", "Yela", and "Almamy". LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ Aurita Y Su Conjunto (Aurita Castillo)Chambacu ... LP
Discos Fuentes/Mississippi, Early 60s. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
One of the most unusual albums ever issued on the legendary Discos Fuentes label – and that's saying a lot, given how many unusual albums the company put out! This set's got a core Colombian groove in the rhythms – very much in the rootsy style that the company was making a name for in the 60s – great percussion, a nice raw edge in the production, and that slight variation in groove that made Colombian music a really refreshing change from the sounds of Havana and New York! Yet the real difference here is that the singer is a kid – the lovely Aurita pictured on the cover – a vocalist who's got this unusual depth for someone her age, this rawness at times that really comes across in a striking way – almost the unbridled energy and emotion that you'd never hear from an adult. That quality livens up the grooves in this really unusual way – all the charms of a vintage Discos Fuentes album, but with a very different spin! Titles include "El Vaquero", "Las Polleras", "Mompoxina", "Chambacu", "Festival En Guarare", "Carino Lindo", and "Lamento De Sirena". LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ Emahoy Tsege Mariam GebruSpielt Eigene Kompositionen ... LP
Mississippi, 1960s. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
A beautiful set of solo piano work by Emahoy Tsegue-Maryam Gebru– pulled from one of the CDs in the Ethiopiques series of compilations, and probably the most delicately melodic material in the series! The Pianist-composer has an extraordinary personal history – she is a daughter of the heralded Ethiopian intellectual the Kentiba Guebrou, and lived many years as a nun who recorded rarely, and then only as a means to serve the poor. The solo piano compositions in this set were culled from rare albums recorded in the early 60s and 70s, plus a few later recordings from the early 90s. The music is gorgeous and difficult to describe – sweetly somber, melancholy, and befitting the solo performances. Titles include "Presentiment", "The Homeless Wanderer", "The Last Tears Of The Deceased", "Mad Man's Laughter", and "A Young Girl's Complaint". LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ Roscoe HolcombOld Church ... LP
Mississippi, 1972. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Appalachian music great Roscoe Holcomb is best known for his Folkways recordings of the early 60s – but he sounds equally wonderful here in a rare performance recorded at a church in Portland in 1972! There's a stark, moody feel to the music – summed up perfectly in the photo on the cover, and billed by Folkways as the "high lonesome sound" – as Roscoe plays these hypnotic lines on banjo that are often filled with these cyclical passages that weave a dark musical tapestry, while his vocals reach for redemption with these qualities that are completely haunting. The set features two very long tracks – "Rocky Mountain" and "The Village Churchyard" – next to shorter cuts that include "East Virginia Blues", "Swanno Mountain", "Single Girl", and "Black Eyed Snake". Mississippi, Late 60s. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Incredible work from Human Expression – a group with this moody, dark quality that's completely mindblowing, especially given their young years at the time of these recordings! The music certainly falls into the garagey sounds of the Sunset Strip scene at the time – but there's also a quality here that really sets these guys apart – this stark, bracing vibe that's hinted at in some of the really bleak song titles of their tunes, and which comes through strongly in the mix of offbeat vocalizations, unusual guitar tunings, and really raw production throughout! Tracks include "Reading Your Will", "Love At Psychedelic Velocity", "Every Night", "Cam Me Down", "Sweet Child Of Nothingness", "I Told Her", "Return Nevermore", "Judgement Of Rejection", "I Don't Need Nobody", "Room Of Shadows", "Who Is Burning", and "Outside Of It All". ✨✧ Kiko Kids JazzTanganyika Na Uhuru ... LP
Mzuri/Mississippi, Early 60s. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Really great work from Kiko Kids Jazz – neither a jazz group, nor a batch of child musicians – but instead an East African collective who have a sound that mixes familiar guitar lines and percussion with a slight bit of mandolin too – all in a mode that's this beautiful blend of the strings of the instruments, the lilting currents of percussion, and the haunting lead vocals of Salim Zahoro – the enigmatic singer who really gives the group a unique flavor! The sound here is maybe in similar territory to highlife – but the tunes are more compact overall, and have a focus that's really carried by Salim's vocals – often with a quality that's relatively lean, especially when you consider that most of these recordings feature the group with almost 20 members in play. The set's the first we've ever seen to bring together these rare singles recorded in Mombasa in the early 60s – and titles include "Sili Sishibi", "Nyerere Karume", "Bahati", "Sauti Yako Tamu", "Nda Kuharashe", "Mineona Ua", "Tanu Imeleta Uhuru", "Tula Ubona", "Lumumba", and "Mpenzi Wanionea". ✨✧ Mdou MoctarAkounak Tedalat Taha Tazoughai ... LP
Mississippi/Sahel Sounds, 2015. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
One of the best Tuareg guitar records we've ever heard – and the Saharan psych soul soundtrack to Akounak Tedalat Taha Tazoughai, billed as the first ever Tuareg language fiction movie – loosely inspired by Purple Rain! The film, like Prince's, focuses on the life of a struggling, motorcycle riding, soulful electric guitar genius, but Mdou Moctar wisely doesn't try to be deliver Saharan riff on the Minneapolis sound. His epic, hypnotic to the point of trancelike electric guitars are front and center, but never in a self-indulgent way, always in service of the moody compositions. Backed only by rhythm guitarist Ahmoudou Madassane and drummer Mahmoud "Achcouscous" Ahmed Jabre, the trio delivers an appropriately cinematic Saharan sound. Amazing! Titles include "Sibidoul", "Rhaicha's Theme", "Iblis Amghar", "Tahoultine", "Adounia", "Chimoumounin", "Jagwa", "Mdou's Theme" and "Tada Dounia". LP, Vinyl record album

SE Rogie's a hell of a guitarist – a real standout even in the legendary African scene of the 60s – and he's also kind of a one-man combo, adding in some rhythms and vocals along with his lines on the electric guitar! This set brings together a range of different singles that SE recorded and issued on his own Rogie label, mostly during the 60s – wonderfully groovy tracks that often just feature vocals and guitar, the latter of which does a tremendous job of moving between rhythm and solo moments! A few cuts add in additional instrumentation, but never too much – and titles include "Long Live Our Woman Mayor", "Are Sorry For You", "Not When I'm In Town", "Waitin Make You Do Me So", "Nor Look Me Lek Dat", and "Kpindigbi". Mississippi, Late 1980s/Early 1990s. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Dig Tuareg guitar? Then you should find plenty here to really expand your listening palette, and in a nicely different way – as these older cuts from Mauritania show a similar use of electric guitar over long-spun rhythms – often cyclical and hypnotic, especially when the musician turns up the fuzz! The Saharan nation really has a way with the guitar – and here, the styles vary nicely, along with the variety of artists included in the set – really expanding our understanding of the music, and in a way that's as groovy as it possibly can be. The set comes with a great booklet of notes – in true Mississippi style – and titles include "Wezin" by Luleide Ould Dendenni, "Banjey" by Kebrouh, "L'Ensijab" by Ateg Ould Syed, "Wezin" by Jeich Ould Chighaly, "Moulana Laa Moulana" by Baba Ould Hembara & Mamma Mint Hembara, "El Horr & Az-Zrag" by Mohammed Cheikh Ould Syed, and "Guelbi Vatimetou" by Mohammed Guitar & Sbeyniat. Fern KinneyGroove Me ... LP
Malaco, 1979. Near Mint- ... $14.99
A standout classic from Fern Kinney – and a set that not only marked a big moment of evolution for southern soul, but also for the Mississippi scene as well! The set was recorded at the Malaco studios in Jackson, but has a vibe that's much closer to some of the TK Records material from Miami – that maturation of southern soul during the disco era – as warmer, more modern touches came into play with rootsier styles of vocals! Mike Lewis handled the string arrangements – giving the record the same disco vibe as some of his other work of the time, including Anita Ward's big debut – and Fern's vocals have this higher range than usual for a southern singer – almost more innately tuned towards clubby rhythms. Titles include a big hit remake of King Floyd's "Groove Me" – really marking the change from the original version – plus "Baby Let Me Kiss You", "Pillow Talk", "Sun Moon Rain", "Angel On The Ground", and "Under Fire". Richard arranged and produced the record himself – and it's a beautiful illustration of his genius – hardly dimmed at this point in his career, and if anything, really redefined for a new generation – with some razor-sharp grooves that are perfect for his hard-wailing vocals! The title cut – "The Rill Thing" – is a monster 10 minute instrumental jam, with a heavy funk sound that you can't even begin to imagine – and the rest of the set is pretty amazing too, with tracks that include "Spreadin' Natta What's The Matter", "Freedom Blues", "Two Time Loser", "Somebody Saw You", "Lovesick Blues", and "Greenwood Mississippi". Clara RockmoreTheremin (aka Art Of The Theremin) ... LP
Delos, Mid 70s. Near Mint- ... $19.99
A groundbreaking album of theremin music – recorded at a time when many people had forgotten about the instrument a bit, but at a level that takes the electronic force to a whole new level! The theremin first rose to fame on 50s sci fi soundtracks and weird mood music records – and although it had gotten use on rock albums during the psychedelic years, it never got the proper treatment it deserved until this groundbreaking set from theremin wizard Clara Rockmore! Rockmore plays the instrument here alongside piano from Nadia Reisenberg – really stripping away sci fi futurist stereotype of the theremin, as she takes on work from serious composers, plus other sources too – using the instrument with a sense of drama, and the virtuosic control of a master instrumentalist – on titles that include "Vocalise", "Song Of Grusia", "The Swan", and "Chant Du Memestrel". A key late 60s country crossover set, but one that also inspired a fair bit of funk as well! The title cut's a well-known gem – one that's been covered instrumentally in some break-heavy versions, but which sounds even more amazing here in Bobbie's original version – one of the moodiest pop tunes we've ever heard, with lyrics, and a way of presenting them, that still leaves us breathless all these many years later. There's also some other funky bits here too – Gentry's raspy "Mississippi Delta" – an original number that almost seems to unseat Tina Turner for down-home soul – and the groovy "Sunday Best", "Niki Hoeky", "Papa Won't You Let Me Go To Town With You", and "Chickasaw Country Child", all numbers that echo the same lilting acoustic guitar grooves of "Billie Joe". A stunning standout from Ray Charles' years on ABC Records – and a set that brings in a bit of hard-swinging jazz to the country-styled groove Ray was hitting at the time! Backings are by Ralph Burns, who keeps things pretty hip – not as modern as some of his 50s charts for other singers, but with some great horns that cascade beautifully alongside Ray's raspy vocals in the lead. The "road" title leads to a bunch of travel-themed tunes – but that approach also yields one of Charles' biggest classics – his version of "Georgia On My Mind" – heard here amidst other tracks that include "New York's My Home", "Moonlight In Vermont", "Deep In The Heart Of Texas", "Blue Hawaii", "Carry Me Back To Old Virginny", "Alabamy Bound", and "Mississippi Mud". Raw North Mississippi blues from Fred McDowell – some of best of the 60s – or any other era! Recorded on portable equipment in 1964 and 1965 sessions in Como and Holy Springs, MS and Berkeley, CA – and capturing the buzz of his guitar and grain in his voice so beautifully! A couple tracks feature a second guitar, and just one has additional voices, allowing McDowell to hook you on his own – and he doesn't let go. Fantastic stuff. Includes "I Ain't Gonna Be Bad No More", "Where Were You", "Do My Baby Ever Think Of Me", "Bull Dog Blues", "Red Cross Store Blues", "You Got To Move", "I Wish I Was In Heaven Sittin Down", "Frisco Lines", "I Looked At The Sun" and more. 12 tracks in all. Columbia/Windfall, 1970s. Sealed Gatefold ... Out Of Stock
Sure, these guys are mostly a rock group – but they've got a talent for funky jamming and long grooves that's always made them a favorite with the crossover soul crowd. This best of collection is unfortunately missing the track "Long Red" – but it does include many other favorites, like "Mississippi Queen", "Nantucket Sleighride", "Crossroader", "Taunta", "King's Chorale", "Boys In The Band", and "Theme For An Imaginary Western". ✨✧ Ohio PlayersOhio Players Gold ... LP
Mercury, 1976. Very Good+ Gatefold ... Out Of Stock
A well-titled set – as it's the mid 70s, and the Ohio Players were certainly turning out a lot of gold! Their move to Mercury Records from the smaller indie Westbound was a real winning move – as it gave them a smoother soul feel that only expanded their groove, not restricted it! This tasty "best of" set features most of their top work from those years – with killer tunes that include "Love Rollercoaster", "Fire", "Skin Tight", "Who'd She Coo", "Feel The Beat", "I Want To Be Free", "Fopp", "Far East Mississippi", "Only A Child Can Love", "Jive Turkey (part 1)", and the great "Sweet Sticky Thing"! ✨✧ Space LadySpace Lady's Greatest Hits ... LP
Night School (UK), Early 80s. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Really wonderful sounds from the enigmatic Space Lady – an artist who mostly performed on the streets of Boston and San Francisco in the 70s, but who also managed to make the handful of recordings featured in this set! The tunes are wonderfully spare, and surprisingly beautiful – often just Casio keyboards with bits of electronic processing, which is also extended to the vocals as well – which links the keys and lyrics in this spacey style that's completely sublime! At some level, Space Lady feels a bit like a street corner version of Laurie Anderson (who herself played many corners in the early years) – but there's also a more tuneful and naive approach to the music as well, which gives the whole thing a really unique approach. In addition to the album's original tunes – like "Humdinger", "Synthesize Me", and "From The Womb To The Tomb" – the set features very cool versions of "Major Tom", "Fly Like An Eagle", "Born To Be Wild", and "Ballroom Blitz". ✨✧ CatfishLive Catfish ... LP
Epic, 1971. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Maybe the best-known of the two classic Catfish albums from the start of the 70s – a searing live set recorded in the group's hometown of Detroit, with a raw, ragged style that sets them up with all of their other hip contemporaries in the Motor City! This time around, Dallas Hodge handles the guitar with a mix of blues roots and freaky fuzz – a perfect match for the rough-edged vocals of Bob "Catfish" Hodge – as the group starts the set with Motown material, the moves into some even headier tunes of their own! Titles include "Money", "Nowhere To Run", "Letter To Nixon", "Mississippi River", and "Whole Lotta Shakin Goin On". LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ Michael HurleyHi Fi Snock Uptown ... LP
Raccoon, 1972. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Really wonderful work from the young Michael Hurley – one of his first records to get somewhat wide exposure, thanks to the help of Jesse Colin Young, who signed Hurley up to his Raccoon label at Warner Brothers! The vibe here is right up there with some of the best offbeat acoustic work cut during that stretch at the label – not the same in sound, but not far in spirit from unique records by Steve Young, John Hartford, and others – not to mention the cooler currents from Jesse's scene too! Hurley's vocal style changes nicely to fit the mood of each tune, really bringing the most out of the sorts of lyrics that were his special stock in trade – while the guitar playing is nicely unified, and although spare, really does a great job of holding the album together. Titles include "Blue Driver", "Water Train", "The Sun Is Slowly Sinking", "I'm Worried I'm Worried", "In Florida", "Lilly Pads Upon The Pond", and "Trinidad". LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ Dorothy MooreMisty Blue ... LP
Malaco, 1976. Very Good+ ... Out Of Stock
A pivotal moment in the development of southern soul – as the album was one of the first really big hits to come out of the growing Malaco scene in Jackson, Mississippi. The style of the record is a mix of older female southern soul styles, plus some of the warmer mellow production that was coming out of the Alston/Miami scene at the same time. And although Malaco mostly moved into cheesy blues during the early 80s, this one's very much in a popular crossover soul style. Features the title hit "Misty Blue", plus "It's So Good", "Too Much Love", "Ain't That A Mother's Luck", "Enough Woman Left (To Be Your Lady)", and "The Only Time You Ever Say You Love Me". ✨✧ MountainFlowers Of Evil ... LP
Windfall, 1971. Very Good+ ... Out Of Stock
A searing standout from Mountain – a studio album, but one that also really captures some of the freewheeling energy that made the group such a great live act at the time – especially given that the studio sessions here are mixed with a bit of improvisation from a live concert too! The double-headed team of Leslie West and Felix Pappalardi are very firmly in charge – the latter with loads of heavy bass, the former with that fuzzy guitar that mixes so well with the heavy drums of the group and titles include "Flowers Of Evil", "King's Chorale", "One Last Cold Kiss", "Crossroader", and "Pride & Passion" – plus a long improvisation that blends together "Dream Sequence Guitar Solo/Roll Over Beethoven/Dreams Of Milk & Honey/Variations/Swan Theme" – and a live take on their classic "Mississippi Queen". ✨✧ Ndikho Xaba & The NativesNdikho Xaba & The Natives ... LP
Trilyte/Matsuli (UK), 1971. Near Mint- Gatefold ... Out Of Stock
Spiritual sounds and a heck of a lot more – served up by Ndiko Xaba, an expatriate South African musician who was working in Oakland at the time of this record – fusing together the roots of his homeland with some wonderfully free and open American jazz styles! At times, there's a bit of a Dollar Brand vibe in Xaba's piano – long lines, with a really compelling pulse – but other times, the music opens up with the kind of searching freedoms you'd hear on the AACM scene of the time – mixing together righteous styles with inventive musical expression! The great Plunky – of Oneness Of Juju fame – is in the group on tenor, soprano sax, and flute – and the record also features Black Fire labelmate Lon Moshe on vibes and percussion, plus additional percussion, bass, and drums. Titles include "Freedom", "Flight", "Nomusa", "Makohsi", and "Shwabada". LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ VariousWidow's Joy – Eastern European Immigrant Dances In America 1925 to 1930 ... LP
Sound American/Canary, Late 20s. Near Mint- ... Out Of Stock
Pretty amazing music from new immigrants to the US – a range of different sounds from Eastern European cultures, reworked here for recordings on American 78s! The music has echoes of Jewish styles, and bits of early polka – although polka itself as a genre wouldn't emerge until years later, as these various cultures tried to find a common ground in the mainstream. Most of the recordings are relatively rootsy – and feel more like ethnographic sounds captured in the old world – and the LP comes with a really great booklet of notes, with way more detail than usual for Mississippi! 16 tracks in all – with work by Edward Mika, Wladyslaw Polak, Stanislaw Mermel, Orkiestra Majkuta, and others. LP, Vinyl record album
