✨✧ Cloud OneDon't Let My Rainbow Pass Me By (2-sided single) ... 12-inch
Golden Flamingo, Late 70s. New Copy ... $12.99 14.98
A fantastic groove from Cloud One – a cut that's filled with all the moogy brilliance you'll know from their other singles on P&P Records – but one that also features some sweet vocals from Margo Williams too! Margo never dominates the tune, and in a way her vocals are almost used right alongside the keys – so that they trade back and forth, over the very cool snapping rhythms of the tune! 8 minutes long, and never a dull moment! 12-inch, Vinyl record

CotoneteInside Outside – First EP Series Vol 1 ... 12-inch
Heavenly Sweetness (France), 2017. New Copy ... $8.99
A jazzy instrumental with a very classic vibe – served up with some especially nice keyboard work from Florian Pellissier – who you might know from records issued under his own name! "Inside Outside" owes a fair bit to 70s funky jazz for inspiration – but it's also got a crackling sort of rhythm approach – played live, but maybe inherited a bit from the broken beat generation – which gives the music an urgently current vibe. Side one features the long core track of the tune – originally written by MPS legend Joanne Grauer – and side two features two Phil Asher/Restless Soul reworks. 12-inch, Vinyl record

Indian OceanSchool Bell Treehouse/Tree House Schoolbell (parts 1 & 2) ... 12-inch
Sleeping Bag/Get On Down, 1986. New Copy (reissue)... $7.99 14.98
One of the most offbeat 12" singles to ever come from the hands of Arthur Russell – and that's saying a lot, given some of his other grooves! The approach here is much more experimental than some of Russell's other projects for Sleeping Bag Records – as the main track builds slowly from a mix of electronic rhythms and percussion, layered with deep sounds that really match the groove – but at a pace that's dark and moody, although building with tribal energy as things move on! There's a pan-global, past/future vibe going on here – one that reminds us how revolutionary Russell was at the time, and what a huge inspiration he was to later giants of the post-house, post-club global scene. Over 20 minutes of music between the two sides – more like a short album instead of a 12" single! 12-inch, Vinyl record
