✨✧ Dr DooomFirst Come First Served ... CD
Funky Ass, 1999. Used ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
In the universe of Kool Keith projects, this one is maybe closest to the Sex Style LP lyrically – but the production is better than both Sex Style and Dr Octagon. We're guessing the reason is that Kool Keith had more to do with the production on this one. There's more variety in the beats, and they usually match the theme of the lyrics. The lyrics have the same bizarre Kool Keith-ness, but this time the humor is more targeted, and more mean. In addition to his beefs with the industry, other MC's, and the medical profession, this time bad housekeeping is high on his list of targets(?!) Produced by the Diesel Truckers (Kool Keith and KutMasta Kurt), with a nice picture cover by Pen & Pixel Graphics. 16 full-length tracks plus several skits. Tracks include "Call The Cops", "Brothers Feel Fly", "Body Bag", "Mental Case", "Leave Me Alone", "Welfare Love", "Dr Doom's In The Room", "Apartment 223", "Neighbors Next Door", and "I Run Rap". CD

✨✧ Kool KeithBlack Elvis/Lost In Space ... CD
Ruffhouse/Columbia, 1999. Used ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
Kool Keith adds Black Elvis to his always expanding collection of personalities. This time, two tracks produced by Kut Masta Kurt and the rest produced by Kool Keith. Maybe as a way of making up for saying "I don't neeeed Zapp, I don't neeeed Roger Troutman," on a record a few years back, Roger is featured on "Master of the Game", complete with the classic Zapp vocoder effects. Overall, the sound is similar to the Dr. Dooom LP, with maybe a few more futuristic verses and less emphasis on how everyone else is biting his style. Tracks include "Rockets On The Battlefield", "Livin Astro", "Supergalactic Lover", "I'm Seein Robots", "Static", "Black Elvis", "Maxi Curls", "Keith Turbo", "Fine Girls", "The Girls Don't Like The Job", "Clifton", "All The Time", and "I Don't Play" CD
