New Copy ... $8.99 9.98
A crucial piece of aluminum that you'll treasure for years! The adapter fits on the spindle of any regular turntable (even those old-fashioned ones with the drop-type in the middle) – and its size and design make it a lot easier to switch 45s back and forth than most other adapters on the market! Citrus SunPeople Of Tomorrow ... CD
Dome (UK), 2014. New Copy ... $16.99
A really sweet set from this Incognito side project – a group who are even jazzier than usual work from Bluey and crew! The album's mostly instrumental – save for some great guest vocals from Valerie Etienne – and the focus is on longer solos on keyboards, guitar, and trumpet – all spun out over the kind of classic grooves you'd expect from Incognito! Think of the record as a jazz fusion project from the late 70s, with some R&B undercurrents – just the kind of set that only a rare few like Bluey could do so well. Valerie sings on a great cover of Terry Callier's "What Color Is Love", and the album also features an instrumental take on "What's Going On", plus the tracks "Yesterday Detroit", "Cooking With Walter", "Tonight We Dance", "Mais Uma Vez", and "People Of Tomorrow". Don ETry This ... CD
Dome (UK), 2005. Used ... $8.99
UK soul from Don-E – an artist who's perhaps a bit more mainstream than some of his contemporaries on the Dome label, but who has a great sound nonetheless! There's a leanness here that we really like – as Don-E pulls out a few strands of contemporary R&B, but distills them down to a cleaner groove, and shakes off all the BS that might mar a set like this – in a way that pushes the work much more towards current efforts on the US underground. Titles include "How I Feel", "Lonely", "Try This", "Bus Stop", "Keep On Luvin U", "Slow", "I Do", and "All We Need". CD

Shaun EscofferyIn The Red Room ... CD
Dome (UK), 2014. New Copy ... $16.99
We haven't heard from Shaun Escoffery in years – but damn, it's really been worth the wait! This album really knocks it out of the park from the very first note – and pushes Shaun way way farther than his previous work, which we really loved a lot – into some kind of sublime classic soul territory that may hopefully get him the international fame he deserves! Escoffery's got this great back to basics approach on the record – still schooled by his more cosmic years on the London scene, but also soaking up plenty of older, deeper soul elements too – yet fusing them in a way that's completely modern, completely fresh, and very individual. There's nothing retro soul about the record – despite some burning Hammond and guitar at points – and the whole thing was done in close collaboration with producer Gil Cang, who also played most of the instruments and helped on backing vocals too. Titles include "Nature's Call", "Perfect Love Affair", "People", "Do U Remember", "Crazy", "Nobody Knows", "By Your Side", "Get Over", and "Day After Day". CD

Rosie GainesYou Gave Me Freedom ... CD
Dome (UK), 2004. Used ... $4.99
Nearly 20 years after her first album, Rosie Gaines is still going strong – and better than ever before! This new set is incredible – perfectly produced by Rosie herself, with a tight snapping sort of groove that's a great counterpoint to her fluid and soulful vocals. The tunes bubble along with a lot of warmth and energy – a catchiness that's as professional as mainstream soul, but without the cliches or overdone themes that you'd expect. Plus, Rosie's got a deeply spiritual approach to the work – one that comes out even in the most mundane moments – of which there are few on the set! Titles include "Give It To Me", "Run To My Heart", "In Spirit", "I Can't Get You Off My Mind", "Wanna Be", "New Beginning", "I'm All Woman", "Get Into This Groove", and "So In Love With You". CD

Dome (UK), 2010. Used ... $6.99
The best set yet from Atlanta singer Heston – whose warm, emotive voice and timelessly crafted style has long put him in the upper tier of independent soul artists for the better part of decade leading up to this excellent album! The songs are are supremely catchy and brilliantly draw from the best intimate soul music of the 70s without ever flirting with throwback/retrosoul revivalism. Heston produced the album, and he delivers masterfully on that front, too – backed by guitar, bass, drums, keys percussion and some horns, and each track has a nice, live feel. Includes "Greatest Lover", "Outside Your Window", "My Kinda Lady", "For Love", "Warm Human", "Crazy", "In These Arms", "Lonely In My Room", "Right Here". CD

Jarrod LawsonJarrod Lawson At The BBC ... LP
Dome (UK), 2015. New Copy ... $18.99
A stunner of a set from Jarrod Lawson – easily one of our favorite soul vocalists in recent years, working here in a format that's maybe even more powerful than his excellent debut! The record has Lawson in the studios of the BBC – working through material done for a special Gilles Peterson show, with Jarrod himself on piano, playing as he sings in this magnificent mode that takes us back to Donny Hathaway or DJ Rogers – with Lawson soaring vocally on these beautiful long songs! The piano is wonderful too – a really surprising element that didn't stand out as strongly on Jarrod's debut – and the other instrumentation is only trumpet and guitar, which continues the unique flavor of the whole record – and underscores that slightly jazzy quality that appears at times. We've loved Jarrod right from the start – but with this set he really hits legendary status – on four songs that include the originals "Soul Symphony" and "Everything I Need" – plus versions of Bilal's "When Will You Call" and Anthony Hamilton's "Point Of It All". Dennis TaylorSmile – Best Of Dennis Taylor ... CD
Dome (UK), 2004. Used ... $6.99
Smooth soul from Dennis Taylor – a collection of work from a variety of recent albums, pulled together here as a great introduction to his music! Dennis has a warm, mellow approach that's really great – very much in the classic mode of singers from the 70s, and produced with a sophisticated groove that marked him as one of the first of the new generation of soul talents on the Dome label. For some odd reason, Dennis' albums for the label have been a bit overlooked – which is one reason it's a great thing that Dome have taken the time to sort through and pull out some of his best bits! 16 tracks in all, with titles that include "Smile", "Enough Is Enough", "Steppin", "Bad As You Wanna Be (full crew rmx)", "Angel", "In The Mood", "Rock U Good", "Fills Me Up (NJ rmx)", "At The Place", "Over & Over", and "Could Be You", a duet with Beverlei Brown! A great debut from Imaani – the soulful singer who's made some great music with Incognito in recent years! The cover's got a shoutout from Bluey on the front – but the music has a nicely different vibe than Imaani's music with Incognito, as she works here with studio talent Kevin Leo, whose come up with a great new direction for the singer! Imaani's got a firmer presence than ever before – and the grooves have a great blend of underground soul and contemporary R&B – focused, cut never too commercial – in the best sort of Brit soul mode we've come to expect from the always-great Dome label. Most numbers have lean, tight rhythms that really emphasize the hooks in the tunes – and titles include "Fall Or Fly", "Ten Thousand", "Standing Tall", "Please Let Me In", "Struggling", "Let's Do It Right", "Step Back", and "African Child". ✨✧ Carleen AndersonSoul Providence ... CD
Dome (UK), 2005. Used ... Out Of Stock
Incredible work from one of the greatest living soul singers – the best album in years from Carleen Anderson, and a record that really lives up to the promise that gripped us when we first heard her with the Young Disciples! Anderson's the daughter of James Brown diva Vicki Anderson – and with a pedigree like that, she's got a lot to live up to. But with a record like this, she more than lives up to her heritage – and in fact even surpasses it – by going farther than Vicki ever did! The arrangements have a great feel that mix the folksy qualities of some of her recent work with the more straightforward groove of earlier sets – and Carleen's vocals still have that wonderfully rich feel that belies her gospel roots, yet come across with a leaner, smoother style more tuned towards the grooves of the set. Titles include "A Different Me", "Gotta Believe In The Future", "Whose Business", "Careful", "Parting The Waters", "My Door Is Open", "Just Like Me", and a remake of "Wanna Be Where You Are", done as a duet with Paul Weller! BPM/Dome (UK), 2005. New Copy ... Out Of Stock
A recent album from the legendary George Duke, and a great one too – put together with a sense of soul and sound that really recalls some of Duke's best work of the late 70s! The album's got a wonderful balance between electric and acoustic elements – especially at points when George puts the keyboards aside, and steps out on acoustic piano – creating lines that ring out proudly amidst the warm backdrops of the group. George also handles some Fender Rhodes on the record, with a very old school vibe – and in addition to his own lead vocals, the set also features backups from Eric Benet, Howard Hewett, Jim Gilstrap, and Rachelle Ferrell. Titles include a sweet remake of "Superwoman", plus "No One", "T-jam", "Sausalito", "Saturday Night", "Hybrids", "Homeland", and "Trust". CD

Don CherryDon Cherry Live In Stockholm ... CD
Caprice (Sweden), 1968/1971. New Copy Gatefold ... $16.99 18.99
Never heard music from Don Cherry's important time in Sweden – two different live recordings that explode with righteous power right from the very first note! Cherry really took off musically during his time in Sweden – exploring rich new ideas that had never come up in his music with Ornette Coleman, nor on his own American sides as well – really organic improvisations that blended together elements of the American underground with the new European free jazz, and some deeper ethnic touches as well! The first set of work here really showcases that mixture – as it features live material from 1968 with very freewheeling work by Cherry on pocket trumpet, flutes, and piano – plus Maffy Falay on trumpet and flutes, Bernt Rosengren and Tommy Koverhult on tenor and flute, Torbjorn Hulcrantz on bass, and Leif Wennerstrom on drums. The first part of the work is more all-out improv, but the second brings in some Turkish folk melodies supplied by Falay, which makes for some nice exotic elements. These are continued on "Another Dome Session", recorded in 1971 – material that has more of the Organic Music Society mix of collaborative acoustic elements, often with strongly spiritual currents. Cherry plays pocket trumpet, flutes, and piano again – and is joined by Maffy Falay on trumpet and flute, Tommy Koverhult on flute, and Okay Temiz on drums and percussion. Great package, with lots of music and notes on this time in Cherry's life! CD

Rufus without Chaka Khan – but a surprisingly nice set, nonetheless! The album features various members of the group on lead vocals – singing in a warm, compressed style that's got the same sort of AOR sound as the group's jazzy grooves at the time. The overall musicianship is still quite nice – a commercial take on jazz funk, but played to perfection, thanks to the tightness of the ensemble. VariousBang The Box – The Lost Story Of AKA Dance Music Chicago 1987 to 1988 ... CD
AKA Dance Music/Still Music, Late 80s. New Copy 2 CDs ... $9.99 16.99
Bang the box – a classic battle cry from the glory days of Chicago house – summed up here perfectly with a stack of tracks from the short-lived AKA Music label! The package follows strongly in the mode of Still Music's Kill Yourself Dancing set – and like that one, it offers up a really great look at a tiny label from the Windy City club scene – an imprint who cut some key tracks that barely made it out of the midwest, but which really helped to shape the house-heavy rhythms that went onto inspire countless artists in years to come! AKA only issued records for two short years in the mid 80s – but they really helped push some of the leaner, cleaner Chicago house modes that were bursting into the limelight in the acid years – those cool keyboards and dark beats that still stand out as some of the best elements from the classic years. The notes do a great job of telling the story from the perspective of the clubs and the streets – and titles include "Rock It" by Matt Warren & Michaelangelo, "Bang The Box (bang the house mix)" by Matt Warren, "Take Me Higher (ultimate acid mix" by Nexus 6, "Lost In The World" by Michaelangelo, "The Music's Got Me (club mix)" by Team, "Pleasure Dome (house mix)" by Modern Mechanical Music, "Don't Bring Back Memories" by Matt Warren & Michaelangelo, and "Alternative House" by Michaelangelo. ✨✧ Frankie Goes To HollywoodWelcome To the Pleasuredome ... CD
ZTT/Island, 1984. Used ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
Arguably one of the greatest concept albums of the 80s – and the only really strong full length album cut by Frankie Goes To Hollywood! At the time of the set, the group was riding high on the success and controversy of their singles "Relax" and "Two Tribes" – but in the ambitious ZTT mode, sought to expand their sound way past familiar hits, and into a realm of sonic exploration that rivaled that of labelmates Art Of Noise. Don't get us wrong, because the Frankie of this album is still very much in groove-oriented territory – but they also let Horn take over with some more striking tunes that are both longer and shorter than the usual pop track – offsetting the vocal numbers on the record with a rich tapestry of musical backdrops that also more firmly forward the group's social and sexual leanings. The album features surprising covers of "War", "Do You Know The Way To San Jose", and "Born To Run" – plus the hits "Relax" and "Two Tribes", and the original numbers "Welcome To the Pleasure Dome", "Krisco Kisses", "The Ballad Of 32", "Wish The Lads Were Here", "Black Night White Light", "The Only Star In Heaven", "The Power Of Love", and "Bang". Disposable (UK), Mid 80s/2013. New Copy ... Out Of Stock
A wonderful split set of sound library work – very much in keeping with the best Finders Keepers impulses behind this limited series! Side one features music by Emerald Web – a set of electronic tracks used for 80s planetarium projects – very moody and slightly spooky, with a weirdly unsettling quality that really echoes the experience of sitting in the dark with a bunch of strangers, tilting back to watch projected stars on the ceiling of a dome! The quality is one that's hard to describe if you've never had the planetarium experience – but Emerald Web really get it right, on tracks that include "Freefall", "Dreamspun", "Emergence", "Through The Garden Of Mirrors", and "Doppler Bells 2". Side two is titled Supernatural Lancashire – and features a really spooky take on pastoral sounds of England – served up in this eerie mix of acoustic and electric instrumentation that feels like scene-setting music for The Wicker Man! One of Roy Ayers' greatest albums of the 70s – a set that tightens up the groove from previous Polydor productions, yet still keeps all the soul intact! The record picks up the style begun with the Mystic Voyage album, and pushes it to some slightly tighter territory – a more focused Roy Ayers sound that's totally great, and which makes the album sparkle wonderfully throughout! All aspects of Roy's talents are perfectly balanced here – his warm vocals and jazzy vibes, his uptempo grooves and mellower rhythms – played to perfection by a hip lineup of players that includes Philip Woo on electric piano, Justo Almario on tenor sax, and Steve Cobb on drums. Edwin Birdsong guests a bit on the record – bringing in a nice edge to a few tunes – the album's got a really unique dark undercurrent, even in smoother moments – that subtle Roy Ayers' approach that's always made him one of our all-time favorite artists. Titles include the wonderful jazz-tinged "Searching", a great midtempo stepper that we really love; the funky break track "The Memory", a righteous number that feels like work from earlier records; the clubby classic "One Sweet Love to Remember"; and the sweet instrumental "Vibrations", which has a mellow kickback feel! Roy AyersVibrations ... LP
Polydor, 1976. Very Good+ ... $8.99
Other tunes include "Higher", "Domelo (Give It To Me)", "Baby I Need Your Love", and "Better Days". LP, Vinyl record album

Brothers Of SoulI Guess That Don't Make Me A Loser ... CD
Collectables, Early 70s. Used ... $8.99
Good domestic reissue of some very obscure sides by one of the great unsung soul groups of the early 70s. We're not sure if these guys ever put out a full album, but the tracks on here are among some of are great lost soul singles, including "You Better Believe It", "Hurry, Don't Linger", "Can't Get You Off Of My Mind", "Come On Back", and the title cut. Gilberto GilGilberto's Samba ... LP
Sony/Polysom (Brazil), 2014. New Copy ... $29.99
One of the best records we've heard from Gilberto Gil in many, many years – a stripped-down session that focuses on his voice and guitar work – in a style that takes us back to Gil's earliest days in music! The album feels like some lost session that Gilberto might have recorded in the 60s – before his Louvacao debut – done with mostly just a bit of light percussion from the enigmatic Domenico, plus some help from Moreno Veloso – who also co-produced the record as well, with that great sense of space he always brings to his own music too. A few cuts feature extra touches – a bit of accordion, or some flute from Danilo Caymmi – but the main focus is on Gil, who hasn't sounded this great in years – still able to capture our imagination when he works in a straightforward style like this. Titles include "Milagre", "Um Abraco No Joao", "Tim Tim Por Tim Tim", "Eu Sambo Mesmo", "Aos Pes Da Cruz", and "Desde Que O Samba E Samba". LP, Vinyl record album

Astrud Gilberto with Stanley TurrentineGilberto With Turrentine (with bonus tracks) ... CD
Wah Wah (Spain), 1970. New Copy ... $19.99
An expanded version of this classic – with 5 more bonus tracks, 4 of which were arranged by Ennio Morricone! The core album is incredible 70s work from the lovely Astrud Gilberto – a rare effort for the CTI label that has her teaming up with arranger Eumir Deodato and saxophonist Stanley Turrentine – all in a groove that's totally different than most of her earlier work! Astrud's breathy vocals are still wonderfully intact – but they're given a more spacious approach in the arrangements – strings mixes with rolling basslines, soaring keyboards, and stone cold tenor from Stanley – in a groove that's simply wonderful, and which takes off in a whole new direction than before! Other players include Airto, Sivuca, Hubert Laws, and Dom Um Romao – and tracks include classic versions of "Ponteio", "Vera Cruz", and "Zazueira" that are all some of the most grooving takes on the tunes ever – plus "Historia De Amor", "Where There's A Heartache", "Brazilian Tapestry", and "Wanting Things". Bonus tracks include "If Not For You", "Acercendome A Ti", "Argomenti", "En Tu Piel", and "Un Donna Che Ti Ama". CD

Jonas KullhammarLat Det Vara ... CD
Moserobie (Sweden), 2013. New Copy ... $13.99
An incredible step forward for reedman Jonas Kullhammar – an album that's put together as a summation of his feelings after taking a brief break from the recording business – but which also stands as one of his greatest moments to date! We've always loved Jonas' music, but there's a sense of power and majesty here that we've never heard before – at least not this clearly – an unbridled love of jazz-based expression, served up with longtime partners Torbjorn Gulz on piano, Torbjorn Zetterberg on bass, and Jonas Hongersson on drums. The vibrancy of these players has been documented before on other recordings by the quartet, but there's really something special going on here – possibly because the album's slated to be the group's last (as might be guessed by the Let It Be cover image), but also just because Kullhammar's tenor work is so expressive, so personal, and at the same time, so much more straightforward than ever before – a sound that will definitely get him the attention we've been saying he deserves for years – one of the greatest voices on his instrument of the past few decades. All material is played by the quartet – save for the title track, which features a larger group with guests who include Goran Kajfes on cornet, Per Rusktrask Johansson on alto, and Janne Kullhammar on drums – and titles include "Alvsalavals", "KBT", "Fodelsedagen", "Julaftonsfan", "Domedagen", and "Lat Det Vara". Alexander O'NealHearsay – All Mixed Up (with bonus tracks) ... CD
Tabu (UK), 1989. Used ... $5.99
A sweet set of remix tracks from Alexander O'Neal – and a package that takes the already-great soul vibe of his Hearsay album, and helps give it some deep new energy for the dancefloor! The album's different than the US version of All Mixed Up – with a different cover, title, and track list – and an overall approach that may well even be tighter than the domestic release, in that key way that the Brits had of putting just the right moves on a remix at the end of the 80s! Titles include "Fake 88 (house mix)", "What Can I Say To Make You Love Me (hateful club mix)", "Never Knew Love Like This (ext version)", "Criticize (Ben Liebrand rmx)", "The Lovers (ext mix)", "Criticize (rmx)", "What Can I Say To Make You Love Me (Ben Liebrand rmx)", and "Fake (ext rmx)". CD also features a great book-style package, with new notes in depth – and 3 bonus tracks that includes "You Were Meant To Be My Lady (88 Keith Cohen ext rmx)", "Innocent (88 Keith Cohen house mix)", and the 10 minute "Hit Mix (Official Bootleg Megamix)". ✨✧ Orquestra ImperialFazendo As Pazes Com O Swing ... CD
Mais Um Discos (UK), 2011. New Copy ... $15.99
Maybe the greatest record so far from this ultra-hip Brazilian group – a set that has the range of singers and musicians coming together wonderfully – in a really rich sound that's way more than the sum of its already-great parts! The album features vocals by Moreno Veloso, Nina Becker, Thalma De Freitas, and others – and features lots of hip instrumentation from Kassin, Domenico, Wilson Das Neves, and many others – a list of players large enough to be the orchestra promised in the title – but moving with a groove that's tight enough to match the work of Kassin or Moreno on other records! Many tunes echo older bossa, samba, and MPB elements, yet the style is pretty fresh as well – aware of the past, but not just rehashing it – thanks to a very inventive presentation overall. Titles include "Cair Na Folia", "Fala Chorando", "Moleculas", "Tamancas Do Caterete", "A Saudade E Que Me Consola", "Mocoto Em Tijuana", and "Apaixonado". CD

Music Masters, 1996. Used ... $8.99
Italian ballads played by trumpeter Enrico Rava and his Electric Five – a group that features both Domenico Caliri and Roberto Cecchetto on guitars, playing both a mix of melody and these wider washes of sound that soften the set nicely for the ballads! Other players include Giovanni Maier on bass, UT Ghandi on drums, and Richard Galliano on accordian – the last of whom brings a nice European flavor to the tunes. Titles include "Bella", "More", "Torna A Surriento", "Diva", "Il Cielo In Una Stanza", and "Un bel Di Vedremo". CD

Myles SankoForever Dreaming ... CD
Legere (UK), 2014. New Copy ... $16.99
Timeless soul and funk from London-based singer Myles Sanko! Sanko had been a rising talent for a few years, serving as a guest vocalist with funk combo Speedometer and others on the European scene, and he really steps out strongly on his own here. There's a richly melodic vibe that's pretty wonderful – and that gives it an emotional, deep soul resonance, without sacrificing the gritty working band feel that we love some much about modern day funk. He's backed by a strong 8 piece combo throughout, and the titles include "Forever Dreaming", "Light In My Hand", "Shooting Star", "My Inspiration", "So Much Indeed", "To My Surprise", "Save My Soul", "Lonely Dreamers", "Take A Look At Me Now", "Take A Look At Me Now" and more. Includes 2 bonus tracks: "Where We Need To Be" and an instrumental version of "To My Surprise". CD

Moreno VelosoCoisa Boa ... CD
Luaka Bop, 2014. New Copy ... $14.99 15.99
A rich new chapter in the career of Moreno Veloso – a set that steps off strongly from his work with the +2 trio, but in ways that are even more personal and poetic than before! The shift is a bit like that time when Caetano Veloso took all his previous experiments and found a more intimate style in his music during the 70s – although Moreno is always very much his own man here, and manages to work with a range of elements, yet still never lose a focus in his musical vision. Domenico and Kassin are still along for some tracks, but the record also brings in diverse production help from Daniel Jobim, Melvin Gibbs, and even Gal Costa – who are among the many partners working here with Moreno and core producer Pedro Sa to shape the rich sound of the record. Instrumentation is a warm mix of acoustic with electric undertones – and titles include "La E Ca", "Um Passo A Frente", "Coisa Boa", "Jacare Coruja", "Hoje", "Nao Acorde O Nenem", "De Tentar Voltar", and "Num Galho De Acaias". Nice stuff from the early days of the MJQ – recorded back when Kenny Clarke was still playing drums with the group, and giving them a bit more of a bottom! One side of the record features material recorded from one of the quartet's first sessions – in late 1952, with the tracks "La Ronde", "Vendome", and "Rose Of The Rio Grande". The rest of the record features material by Jackson's group with Horace Silver on piano, Percy Heath on bass, Kenny Clarke on drums, and the obscure Henry Boozier on trumpet. That material's a bit more bop-oriented, and titles include "Opus De Funk", "Buhania", and "Soma". LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ VariousButtons – Starter Kit (aka Yellow Pills) ... LP
Numero, Late 70s/Early 80s. New Copy 2LP Gatefold ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
A reimagined version of the legendary Yellow Pills compilation on Numero – 20 songs from the original compilation, plus two bonus tracks, new liner notes, and lots of cool sleeve scans, photos, and more! Forget everything you know about rock music in the late 70s – all the punk rock and new wave that's been immortalized over the years – and get ready to discover a whole new world of power pop! At the time, the power pop underground was as important to some ears as the artier and angrier work coming out of the east coast and UK – and the power pop world was one that could co-exist a bit more peacefully with mainstream rock, while still offering a great opportunity for bands on various local scenes. The work here has echoes of more famous acts of the time – like The Cars, The Kings, or The Knack – but it's also got a bit more of a home-grown, punk rock edge – one that comes through beautifully in the guitar parts, vocals, and unabashed hooks of the tunes. The set's a follow-up to the original Yellow Pills set by zine publisher Jordan Oakes – and it delves deeper than even that one, with a real focus on work from the end of the 70s, and acts that never had great chart success overall. Titles include "High School" by Tommy Rock, "She's Hi Fi" by The Trend, "There Goes My Heart Again" by The Kids, "Not My Girl Anymore" by The Bats, "All I Want" by The Colors, "Domestic/Imported" by The Toms, "Sunshine USA" by Randy Winburn, "One In A Million" by Luxury, "She's The Girl" by The Tweeds, "Rave It Up" by Colors, and "Hey Little Girl" by The Kids.
