✨✧ Basil PoledourisRobocop (180 gram silver vinyl pressing) ... LP
Varese/Milan, 1987. New Copy 2LP Gatefold (reissue)... Out Of Stock
A great dramatic score from the 80s – surprisingly rich in sound, at a time when so many other soundtracks were taking shortcuts! The music is fully orchestral – scored by Poledouris, and conducted by Howard Blake – with these bold, brooding elements that really illuminate the film, and almost stand even more strongly on their own away from the movie! There's nothing tinny or schlocky about the music – unlike some of the special effects on the screen – and there's a few especially haunting passages that make for a great complement to the bigger drama. Titles include "Robo Lives", "Clarence Frags Bob", "Murphy Goes Home", "Nukem", "Helpless Woman", "DCP Monitors", "Have A Heart", "Rock Shop", and "Force Shoots Robo". LP, Vinyl record album
(Stunning package – heavy silver vinyl, in heavy cover with inner sleeves – and special download card too!)
