✨✧ Ennio MorriconeDrammi Gotici (aka Gothic Dramas) ... CD
GDM/DRG, 1977. Used ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
Chilling Late 70s soundtrack work from maestro Morricone – his score for the 1977 Italian television series Drammi Gotici – and certainly appropriate sounds for a gothic drama! The material has lots of tense strings, eerie chiming sounds, sparer moments and classical flourishes. Viola by Dino Asciolla and the voice of Edda Dell'Orso bring on the mood – dark, atmospheric and also oddly beautiful supernatural styled soundscapes from Ennio Morricone! Titles include "La Casa Della Streghe", "Drammi Gotici", "Ma Non E' Un Vampiro", "Kaiserstrasse", "Diario Di Un Pazzo" and many more. CD

✨✧ Nelson Riddle/Jane PowellGirl Most Likely – Original Soundtrack ... CD
Capitol/DRG, Late 50s. Used ... Out Of Stock
A wonderful soundtrack from Nelson Riddle – some of his grooviest work of the late 50s, and way better than his easy listening albums for Capitol! The soundtrack was written for a musical film starring Jane Powell and Cliff Robertson, and it's got some really nice tunes with a swinging, slightly comical feel – not nearly as musical-sounding as you might think, thanks to the way that Riddle carries off the arrangements. A few tracks are mellower and instrumental, but it's the lively vocal numbers that keep us coming back to this one! Tracks include "Travelogue", "I Don't Know What I Want", "Beach Party", "The Girl Most Likely", "Crazy Horse", and the great "We Gotta Keep Up With The Joneses". CD
(Out of print. Still sealed with a cutout notch through the spine.)
