✨✧ VariousPsychemagik – Ritual Chants (3CD set) ... CD
Eskimo (Belgium), 1970s/1980s. New Copy 3 CDs ... Out Of Stock
Maybe one of the coolest Psychemagik collections we've heard so far – a set that spans the 70s and 80s in search of very unusual, very offbeat tracks – many of which have kind of a post-prog, post-electronic, post-disco approach – sometimes spare and instrumental, usually a bit more full and vocal – and very different than more familiar club or dancefloor tracks that you might know! Some of the best music here has a sweet Euro sort of vibe – the kind of cuts that were maybe never trying to do more than make a slight wave in their own scene, rather than take the world by storm – especially as the collection moves on, and things get groovy, but in a way that's still unfamiliar. 3CD set features 40 tracks in all – and titles include "Dance On" by Ennio Morricone, "Amram" by The RIAS Orchestra, "Water Sports" by man Parrish, "Caroline" by Free Fantasy, "L'Amour Joue Au Violon" by Jeanette, "Making Love" by Bobby Lyle, "Habibi" by Amini, "Fancy Good" by Electric Machine, "Cover Girl" by Jean Guy Ruff, "Lipstick" by JM Black, "Take Me Back"b y Bolden Hands, "Do The Zru" by Zru Vogue, "Rhodas" by El Sueno De Hyparco, and "I'm Still In Love With You" by The Right Combination. (Funky Compilations, Soul) CD
