✨✧ CureJapanese Whispers (clear vinyl pressing) ... LP
Fiction/Rhino (Germany), 1983. New Copy (reissue)... Temporarily Out Of Stock
An early full length set from The Cure, and one that brings together a whole host of tracks that were previously released as singles! The package also includes the b-sides of some of the singles, which makes it more than just some sort of hits collection – nicely deeper, given the range of the tracks – all of which have the young Robert Smith maybe working at the height of his powers! Titles include the classics "Love Cats", "The Walk", and "Let's Go To Bed" – plus "Just One Kiss", "The Dream", "Lament", "Speak My Language", and "The Upstairs Room". LP, Vinyl record album

YelloYou Gotta Say Yes To Another Excess ... LP
Elektra, 1983. Near Mint- ... $14.99
The first rumblings of the pop genius in Yello's music – a record that still has all the best quirky electronics of their first two sets, but which also focuses that energy into a sound that's often more direct and oddly hook-oriented on the best numbers! There's a really percussive vibe going on here – a quality that makes the album almost more darkly rhythmic than other efforts, but which also pushes some tunes ahead with quite a sense of drive – mixing early samples, analogue electronics, and Dieter Meier's always-great vocals into a sound that's still better than many of the countless groups who sprung up in Yello's wake. Titles include "I Love You", "Swing", "Heavy Whispers", "Crash Dance", "Lost Again", "Smile On You", "Pumping Velvet", and "Salut Mayoumba". LP, Vinyl record album
(Red label pressing with SRC stamp. Cover has a cutout hole, some ring and edge wear, bent corners, and a bit of pen.)
