A killer album of dub from producer Phil Pratt – and one with a real transatlantic pedigree too! The set was mixed in London, at the legendary Easy Street Studios – but features sounds recorded in Kingston – mostly from songs by Ronnie Davis, and with rhythms that include work from Sly & Robbie – plus lead guitar from Lloyd Gitsy Willis and melodica and keyboards from the great Bobby Kalphat! The whole thing is served up in this really moody brew – nice and lean, very dark and heavy – and with a quality that's much more like some of those rare, barely-circulated Jamaican dub albums from the early years, instead of some of the UK productions of the period. Titles include "Danger Zone", "Easy Street Special", "The Good The Bad & The Brave", "Feel The Beat", "Earth Movement", and "Dancing Kid". LP, Vinyl record album
