Bishop Nehru & MF DOOMNehruvianDOOM ... CD
Lex, 2014. New Copy ... $8.99 9.99
A solid – and at the time, underappreciated – effort from Bishop Nehru and MF Doom – one we love even more with bit of time on its side! Doom is more or less focused on the production side on this one while the former handles the majority of the rhymes – and having arrived at a time when Doom's mic and stage presence were probably a bit more famous (or infamous, depending on when & where you might've seen him live) than his playful, moody and oddly melodic production genius, it was a reminder how great he could be – and Bishop Nehru is more than up to task of shining strong as the primary lyricist despite still being a teenager when this was made! Good stuff, and like most of Doom's productions, pretty timeless. Includes "First Day Of Class", "Om", "Mean The Most", "So Alone", "Darkness (HBU)", "Coming For You", Caskets", "Great Things" and "Disastrous". CD

✨✧ Eazy-EEazy-Duz-It ... LP
Ruthless/Priority, 1988. Very Good ... $79.99
Eazy's first and best LP, from back when he was trying to kid everyone that he was still a teenager. As we all know, Eazy Duz It is a lot more of a companion piece to Straight Outta Compton than a standout solo album by Eazy E, with most the writing credits going to almost everyone involved with NWA EXCEPT Eazy. We all also know that that is a good thing, as the puckish MC was a much better mouthpiece than he was a great thinker. As an instrument of helium voiced anger and bile spewing, Eazy was pretty hard to top in those days, and those tight, propulsive beats Dre and co. conjured up in the late 80s will keep our lowriders bouncing until the end of time. Truly a conceptual masterpiece, whether you're comfortable with that or not. Includes "Radio", "Eazy Duz It", "Boyz In The Hood", "Eazy-er Said Than Dunn", "2 Hard Mutha's", "Nobody Move", "Still Talkin'", "I'mma Break It Down" and "We Want Eazy". LP, Vinyl record album
(Original pressing with SRC stamp. Cover is in great shape – still in the original shrink!)
