"What Cha Can Prove" is one of the better examples of pre-G Funk west coast hip hop, just about as dope as DOC's "It's Funky Enough" with the same sort of feel and energy from Dr Dre's production. 12-inch, Vinyl record

A lost side bar in the history of west coast hip hop, and one of our favorite LP's from the early 90s. NWA were at their height when MC Ren put together this side project with Lil Nation, which he hasn't surpassed since. The tracks are pre-G-Funk, hyped and funky west coast beats, and the rhymes are tight enough to disprove the notion that Cube was responsible for all of NWA's lyrical dopeness. Nice zigga zigga courtesy the Almighty DJ Train, too. Includes "Ballad Of A Menace", "C.P.Osis", "Ren's Rhythm", "Flow To The Rhythm", "The Wall", "Homicide", "Somethin' Like Dis", "The Movement", "This Beat Is Funky", and "Gangsta Melody". CD
