Arrested Development3 Years, 5 Months, & 2 Days In The Life Of ... CD
Chrysalis, 1992. Used ... $0.99
The debut of Arrested Development – a worthy critical favorite early in it's release cycle the went on the dismissed by lot of hip hop heads after it became a hit – and a solid, spiritually resonant effort well worth a reappraisal after all these years! They really was no other hip hop group quite like Arrested Development, then or now – led by producer, writer, vocalist Speech, with a solid bedrock of classic samples and live band instrumentation. Good stuff. Tracks include "Man's Final Frontier", "Mama's Always On Stage", "People Everyday", "Blues Happy", "Mr Wendal", "Children Play With Earth", "Raining Revolution", "Fishin 4 Religion", "Give A Man A Fish", "U", "Eve Of Reality", "Natural", "Dawn Of The Dreads", "Tennessee", and "Washed Away". CD
(Out of print, BMG Direct pressing.)

BahamadiaKollage ... CD
Chrysalis/EMI, 1996. Used ... $9.99
Not one filler track on this strong debut LP from one of the dopest female MC's in a while. And without the soft porn gimmicks MC's too often use to get over. Tracks include "True Honey Buns", "I Confess", "Word Play", "UKNOWHOWWEDU", "3 Tha Hard Way", "Da Jawn" with the Roots, and lots more. CD
(1996 European pressing. Spine has a small cutout hole. Booklet has a signature in pen and tray card has a few notes on the back.)

✨✧ Gang StarrHard To Earn ... LP
Chrysalis/ERG, 1994. Very Good 2LP ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
Gang Starr at pretty close to peak level here on 1994's Hard To Earn – and rather than continue to ride the waves they made on the previous couple classic albums, Guru sharpens the lyrical tone just a bit – spitting some more incisive rhymes over apporpriately gritty soul jazz beats from Primo. Tracks include the classic "DWYCK" featuring Nice & Smooth – which is just about our favorite Gang Starr track ever, to be honest – plus "Speak Ya Clout" featuring Jeru and Lil Dap, "Mass Appeal", "Code Of The Streets", "Brainstorm", "Tonz O Gunz", "Suckas Need Bodyguards", "Blowin Up The Spot", "Mostly Tha Voice", "F.A.L.A.", "Now You're Mine", "Comin For Datazz", "Aiight Chill...", "The Planet", and more. LP, Vinyl record album
(Original pressing. Cover has unglued seams, with small center splits in the spine and bottom seam, and is faded a bit along the top seam and spine.)
