Myrna Summers & The Interdenominational Singers —
Tell It Like It Is ... LP Cotillion, 1970. Near Mint- ...

A great gospel album on Atlantic! After getting a bad rap from some folks for being only exploitative of the African-American community, Atlantic Records vowed to "give something back", and produced a handful of gospel albums that were clear loss-leaders for the label. And no surprise, with their great talent for handling soul, Atlantic was actually pretty good at cutting gospel – as this obscure album by Myrna Summers will attest. Myrna plays piano and leads the group, and other instrumentation is by organ, bass, and bongos! Titles include "Tell It Like It Is", "Where Is Love", "Witness", and "Said He Would". Nice and soulful! LP, Vinyl record album
(Original pressing! Cover has a small cutout mark, but this is a great copy.)
