Nothing too blue about this nude – as the tune's a sexy little romp, and one that nicely mixes up acoustic guitar, floating violin, and romping rhythms – all set to some cool offbeat lyrics! The tune's an overlooked funky soundtrack cut from PieroUmiliani – and it's backed here by "Life Goes On", which is mellower, and also features English language lyrics. 7-inch, Vinyl record

The news is pretty darn jazzy here – thanks to a quick-stepping bassline, cool marimba, and snapping snare – all of which give "News" a very groovy jazz soundtrack feel – like something lifted off an obscure soundtrack from the early 60s! But halfway through, some cool electronics also come into the mix – moogy flutters that change things up and really space the tune out nicely! "Top Secret" is a wonderful blend of guitar with a hip acosutic bassline – really crafted with a lot of personal touches – hypnotic and seductive, with some nice jazzy overtones! 7-inch, Vinyl record
Moogy magic from the legendary PieroUmiliani – a wicked track that begins with lots of cool electronics, stripped down into an early drum machine rhythm – and delivered with more space energy than you'd expect from the "blues" in the title! "Gadget" is a cool quirky bit of electronics – almost like a robot creating dance music with a moog and an acoustic bass – and "Automa" has a cold feel that's somewhere between early Sheffield electronica and the sound of the German new wave! 7-inch, Vinyl record
Two killer cuts from this rare 70s Italian soundtrack – both of them great! "Chaser" has this way of glowing while grooving – keyboards soaring out over drums, then spacing out a bit, then coming back warm with the groove, which also includes some percussion! "Hard Times" is a bit faster and funkier, but has a very similar vibe – that understated version of funk that made Umiliani's work such a great change from American soundtracks of the time! 7-inch, Vinyl record
Cool beans! This is the original US single version of this tasty cut by PieroUmiliani! "Mah Na Mah Na" is simply wonderful – a weird nasally vocal humming along while some female singers come around in back – organ bubbling, the whole thing sounding about as mad as it can be! The flip is straighter – but still pretty groovy! 7-inch, Vinyl record
