An excellent album of bossa jazz from the great Lalo Schifrin – recorded at a time when he was working in the group of Dizzy Gillespie, and picking up a few great touches from that scene too! The combo is super-sharp – with the great Leo Wright on alto and flute – blowing these great solos that are worth the price of the album alone – next to Lalo's piano, the bass of Chris White, and drums of Rudy Collins – plus two more percussionists too!
