Moby Grape20 Granite Creek ... LP
Reprise, 1971. Near Mint- ... $14.99
An overlooked nugget from Moby Grape – a set that was recorded at the group's home in the Bay Area – at an address that we're guessing was 20 Granite Creek! There's a very at-home feel to the album – almost a more relaxed, familiar vibe compared to the group's previous Columbia albums – still with plenty of rootsy elements in the music, but also this warmly collaborative spirit that almost evokes some of the Woodstock scene at the time – far enough from the location of the styles the group is drawing on, which allows for some mature extrapolations of their own. The guitars get nice and edgey at times – providing a nice surprise at moments – and titles include "Ode To The Man At The End Of The Bar", "Road To The Sun", "Apocalypse", "I'm The Kind Of Man That Baby You Can Trust", "Gypsy Wedding", "Chinese Song", "Roundhouse Blues", and "Horse Out In The Rain". LP, Vinyl record album
(Cover has a split top seam, half split spine, small bottom seam split, light ring wear & aging – but the vinyl is nice & clean!)

Moby GrapeGrape Jam ... LP
Columbia, 1968. Very Good ... $6.99 8.99
Moby Grape's self-conscious, but hardly less groovy late 60s excursion into loose, free form and largely instrumental psychedelia – the sweet and therefore appropriately titled Grape Jam! GJ is really a world away from their earlier rock regalia – with superstar special guests Al "How Does It Feel" Cooper and Mike Bloomfield brought in the flesh out the open-ended sounds. The sounds roll from walloping instrumental rock, to bluesier jams, to some driving nearly funky bits! Titles include "Never", "Boysenberry Jam", "Black Currant Jam", "Marmalade" and "The Lake". LP, Vinyl record album
(Stereo 360 Sound pressing. Vinyl plays with short clicks on the first few songs on each side. Cover has ring wear, aging.)

Moby GrapeMoby Grape ... LP
Columbia, 1967. Very Good ... $59.99
The self-titled groovy rock masterpiece from Moby Grape – one of the greatest things to come out of San Francisco after Ghiradelli Chocolate and sourdough bread! The Moby Grape LP is one of the finest, and leanest LPs we can think of from the '67 school of Bay Area psychedelic rock – with ome genius work by a young Skip Spence & co that leans on a sound that grows up and out from a blues based approach into the stratophere! – original LP tracks include "Omaha", "Hey Grandma", "Changes", "Sitting By The Window", "Ain't No Use", "Mr Blues", "Naked, If I Want To", "8:05", "Lazy Me", "Someday" and more LP, Vinyl record album
(Mono 2 eye pressing. In the 'middle finger' cover, with a split top seam, some surface & edge wear, small bottom seam split, bumped corner.)

Moby GrapeMoby Grape 69 ... LP
Columbia, Late 60s. Near Mint- ... $19.99
Groovy rock from Moby Grape – a sweet set from the end of the 60s that's as tight and consistent as just about anything else in their early canon – despite the absence of recently departed Skip Spence! The rest of the group really bring out some magic here – on tunes that touch on Byrds-y folk psychedelia and far grittier tunes, too! Underrated and totally worthy work from Moby Grape! Titles include "Ooh Mama Ooh", "Ain't That A Shame", "I Am Not Willing", "Hoochie", "Trucking Man", "Captain Nemo", "Seeing" and more. LP, Vinyl record album
(Sundazed reissue in a barcode cover, with bumped corners and bent a bit at the bottom right corner.)

Sundazed, Late 60s. Used ... $14.99
The first ever ever official release of live concert recordings of Moby Grape in their late 60s peak – from performances at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco and the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967, Amsterdam in 1969 and more – collected beautifully by Sundazed! Moby GrapeTruly Fine Citizen ... LP
Columbia, 1969. Very Good+ ... $28.99
A truly fine Moby Grape effort from the tail end of the 60s – featuring loads of rubbery rock grooves – and one of the more songwriting centered efforts from the Grape catalog! Moby Grape was pared down to a trio by the time of Truly Fine Citizen – and the tracks are just loose enough around the edges, with some meandering harmonies and an insistent bass groove throughout. Title include the totally groovy opener "Changes, Circles Spinning", plus "Looper", "Truly Fine Citizen", "Beautiful Is Beautiful", "Love Song", "Right Before My Eyes", "Now I Know High", "Tongue-Tied" and "Love Song, Part Two". LP, Vinyl record album
(360 Sound stereo pressing. Cover has a split spine, ring wear, aging. Name in marker on the back and labels.)
