✨✧ Sonic YouthDaydream Nation ... LP
Goofin', 1988. New Copy 2LP Gatefold (reissue)... Out Of Stock
Sonic Youth's best ever – bringing the earlier, noisier impulses into an anthemic rock realm -with incredible results! Daydream Nation's legancy looms as heavily over the indie rock to come over the next 20-or-so years as much as any other album album we can think of...hell, just the first 2 songs do that – and it doesn't let up 'til the end. Perfection! Includes "Teen Age Riot", "Silver Rocket", "The Sprawl", 'Cross The Breeze", "Eric's Trip", "Total Trash", "Hey Joni", "Providence", "Candle", "Rain King" and the closing "Kissability" suite. Don CrawfordAnother Shade Of Black ... CD
Roulette/Wounded Bird, 1971. New Copy ... $3.99 11.98
A strange bit of country soul – but a great one, and unique gem from Don Crawford! Another Shade Of Black was recorded by Don Crawford in New York, with bit of a crossover folksy feel that's more like work you'd hear from Muscle Shoals, but it's in a slightly more experimental mode. The album's got Crawford on vocals and acoustic guitar, and instrumentation includes a string quartet, banjo, dulcimer, and a bit of organ. Titles include "Keep Yourself Together", "Song For Sister Angela", "For All The Ladies", "If It Feels Good – Do It", and "Goofin Away The Day". CD

Baja Marimba BandBaja Marimba Band ... LP
A&M, Mid 60s. Near Mint- ... $7.99
After the huge success of Herb Albert's Tijuana Brass albums, A&M got vibist Julius Wechter (ex-Martin Denny) to come up with a similar ensemble in the Baja Marimba Band. The group has a goofy pseudo Mexican sound – but is really just a bunch of LA studio guys goofing it up on pop tracks like "Up Cherry Street", "Comin In The Back Door", "Charade", "Baja Nights", "Pedro's Porch", and "December's Child". LP, Vinyl record album
(Brown label pressing. Cover has some discoloration from age and splitting in the bottom seam.)
