The music is funky, but it's the lyrics that often hold the whole thing together – echoes of 70s warmth, but given a bit more of a contemporary message – over grooves that have a fantastic sense of flow that really matches the lyrics – laidback, but never lazy – just the right sort of poise to give things even more power than usual – on titles that include "Good Love", "Friends To Lovers", "When You Stole The Sun From The Sky", "You're Too Hip For Me Baby", "Cure The Jones", "Winner's Eyes", and "Party For One".
