A groovy set from 70s Spain! This 1971 groover was recorded by keyboardist Alfonso Santisteban and his La Nueva Banda De Santisteban – in a style that's very similar to some of the best Italian soundtrack work of the time, and bits of bossa! Alfonso plays both electric and acoustic piano – and the album grooves along with funky bass, tight drums, and a swirl of voices and instruments that jangle around the beats with a mad, free feel. The whole thing's a mod easy party from the word "go" – and has the freshness that on par with the best groovy soundscapes of the era! Titles include "Sabor A Fresa", "Brincadeira", "Zorongo", "Persecucion", "Limon Y Sal", "Nuestro Ayer", "Tierra Mojada", "Soledad" and "The Suitcase". CD
