✨✧ Brenda LeeReflections In Blue ... LP
Decca, 1967. Used ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
The reflections here are definitely in blue – as the album's got a sad, somber quality that's really great – quite different than Brenda Lee's more pop-oriented material, and really showing a newly mature side of her sound! The orchestra is directed by Charles Bud Dant, with some gently swirling strings alongside slightly stepping rhythms – all in a mode that's a bit more adult than before, and which offers a nice transition to late 60s modes for Brenda. Titles include "I'll Only Miss Him When I Think Of Him", "Here's That Rainy Day", "Am I Blue", "I Will Wait For You", "Little Girl Blue", "Close to You", and "Can't Help Falling In Love". LP, Vinyl record album
(Cover has some ring & edge wear.)
