Plastic (Italy), Early 70s. Used ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
The second great volume of Plastic's dip into the vaults of the classic Italian soundtrack label Comet. Like the first volume, this one's a motherlode of groovy and funky tracks from rare soundtrack and sound library sources – and it's got a total of 23 cuts by the likes of Freedom Power, Marc 4, Ennio Morricone, I Gres, L. Zito, Franco Micalizzi, Giovanni Tommaso, Silvano Torossi, and others! The groove is very very nice – with a feel that's very different than some of the other Italian comps we've stocked in the past – and there's lots of cool "crime" sounding themes, nice funky basslines, and even a few nice breaks and sample riffs. You all loved volume 1 of this set (and made it one of our biggest titles that year) – and this second volume has the same high level of quality, and nice nice packaging too! CD
