✨✧ VIP 200Psicoerotica – Un Nudo, Una Storia (with bonus tracks) ... LP
Tam Tam/Cinedelic (Italy), 2001. New Copy 2LP Gatefold ... Temporarily Out Of Stock
A really cool classic from this Italian combo – one of the first groups to really get the sound of vintage easy and bossa grooves just right – which they perform here in a mix of original tunes and numbers by famous soundtrack giants like Piero Umiliani and Armando Trovajoli! Rhythms are nice and lean, and not in the too-clubby remix mode that other groups in this territory might use – with plenty of percussion down next to the bass and drums – topped with some especially great work on organ and synth, plus occasional wordless vocalizations too! The whole thing is very tasty – and titles include "Psicoerotica", "Il Bellunese", "Topless Party", "La Decisione", "Madame La Mousse", "Don Peppino E Falpala", "Gonna Make It Easy", "Gangster Story", "Il Colore Degli Angeli", and "Dentro L'Atelier". Great vinyl pressing – with a bonus record that features seven unreleased tunes, and seven more from singles as well! LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ Voodoo Sound ClubEcce Homo ... LP
Cinedelic (Italy), 2023. New Copy ... Out Of Stock
A really great little record – not what we expected at all, and filled with all these weird and wonderful touches! The core energy is jazz funk, but with some very offbeat twists – especially on the soprano sax lines from Guglielmo Pagnozzi, which are often processed, and come across with elements that feel like some of the hipper Afro Funk-inspired European sessions of the 70s, but with psychedelic elements too! The keyboards are also great too – lots of electric piano in the mix – grounded with good percussion, and served up on tunes that have all these really inventive time changes and shifts. Titles include "The Changeling" and "Ecce Homo" – both around 17 minutes in length – plus the still-long "Virus" and "DJ Zed On The Beach". (Deep Funk, New Grooves) LP, Vinyl record album

✨✧ Sam PagliaKiller Cha Chacha ... CD
Cinedelic (Italy), 2003. New Copy Gatefold ... Out Of Stock
Really wicked stuff – and the greatest album from Sam Paglia to date! Sam's really honed his classic 60s organ sound to a "T" for this one – grooving in a manner that sounds a heck of a lot like famous soundtrack work by Quincy Jones or Lalo Schifrin (no surprise, he covers tracks by both in the set of mostly original tunes!) The grooves are nice and lean, with plenty of organ in the lead – and styles run from 60s mod to 70s funky, with lots of nice twists! Titles include "Bullitt", "Suspense", "Room 26", "Black Loop", "Organsm", "Introduction", "Return Of Lo Blanco", "BBQ", and "Sanford & Son". CD
