The highlight here is Ray's cool cover of "Living For The City" – done with some great Fender Rhodes on the intro, and sung by Ray in a raspy voice that's quite different from the hit, or any other take on the tune! The track opens up nicely, and the keys alone are worth the price of admission. Other tracks are ok, but not great – and titles include "It Ain't Easy Being Green", "We're Gonna Make It", "For Mama", and "Sunshine". JB's wildest album, with a crazy cover that shows him running away from the devil, and great gatefold inner photo with him standing amidst a bunch of declarations of "Hell". Excellent work from this smooth Chicago vocal group! The album may well be the best the group ever recorded – and it features some stellar ballad work produced with a nice spacey tone, almost in a Rose Royce mellow mode – by Jerry Butler's Fountain Productions team and by Clarence ...
