One of what we like to think of as the second generation of Acid Jazz acts, with a post Brand New Heavies sound that mixes a bit more slick modern soul in with their jazz. Most every track features a vocalist of some sort, either rapping or singing, and we can't help but wonder if that was at the hands of a producer who wanted to help get them over on radio. 9 tracks in all, including "The Beat Is The Bomb", "Moodness Of Cool", "Truth Is Plain" and "Shining Star". (Out of print. Booklet has a gold promo stamp.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
