A trio of early 70s nuggets from Question Mark & The Mysterians – "Hot 'N'Groovin'" & Funky Lady" from 45 release in '73 – issued here with the previously unreleased "Doncha Want My Love"! As you might suspect from the song titles, the group is working in more of funk & soul indebted vibe than the organ heavy garage rock mode of their 60s period, and it works pretty well! The production is pretty great, too, with horns and female backing vocals. A forgotten period for this great band and one worth checking out!  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
