Reprise, 1972. New Copy (reissue)
A really unique album by John Fahey – issued during a short stretch of initial mainstream approval, and a brief time of recording for Warner Brothers! What A Beautiful Place
Reflection/Numero, 1971. New Copy (reissue)
A beautiful early 70s debut LP from a then 20-year-old, Halifax reared Catherine Howe – produced and arranged by US jazz pianist Bobby Scott in a mode that manages to feel lush and opulent while never belying Catherine's warmth, intimacy and maturity – and quite possibly the best ... Textbook 70s country badassery from Waylon! This is one of the most defining moments of the outlaw era, the record which pretty much drew a line in the sand between Waylon Jennings and the Nashville establishment. Move With Love
Country Flavor/Numero, 1976. New Copy (reissue)
An unusual bit of female folk from mid 70s California – not really country, but far from the sound of the LA scene too – a distinction that's probably made even stronger by the small studio recording of the record in San Jose! Kathy Heideman sings straight at some times, but has these ... LP, Vinyl record album

All Our Own Work
Numero, 1967. New Copy 2LP Gatefold
A young Sandy Denny, singing with The Strawbs in the years before she left to join Fairport Convention! This material predates the fame of all involved, but represents a key point in the UK folk scene – a time when there was still a bit more influence from US modes of earlier in the 60s, but ... The most stylistically sprawling record yet from Jack White! White's trajectory from Detroit garage-blues-punk wunderkind to the Nashville record biz provocateur/label magnate is pretty damn impressive – and he really lets his far-reaching impulses fly on Lazzaretto. Unpredictable twists ... LP, Vinyl record album

Incredible stuff – and one of Tim Buckley's greatest albums! The record's got a style that's a wonderful mix of folk and jazz – using acoustic guitar on most tracks, but also throwing in some vibes by a young David Friedman, which gives the record some warm chromatic hues. Buckley's ... LP, Vinyl record album
