One of the most famous cuts ever by The Detroit Emeralds – and one of the best! "Baby Let Me Take You" is a stellar harmony cut – and it begins with this super-dope guitar intro that's been sampled by De La Soul and a few others over the years! "I'll Never Sail" sounds stupid from the title – but it's an incredible tripped-out ballad cut that's just beautiful. Really great stuff– and even more compelling than the a-side!  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

An obscure group – but one with a great modern soul approach! "Everytime I See A Pretty Lady" is a nice bit of midtempo modern soul from their classic Gemini Rising LP, and "Something Special" is a bit more uptempo, but still pretty much in the modern soul vein! 7-inch, Vinyl record
