A nice collection of side Evans cut for Verve, featuring the introspective pianist in a variety of settings. "Beautiful Love" and "My Foolish Heart" were recorded live at Town Hall in a trio setting with Chuck Israels and Arnie Wise. "Spartacus Love Theme" and "How About You?" feature Evans accompanying himself on overdubbed pianos from the Conversations With Myself LP, while "Bemsha Swing" is a similar recording that was previously unissued at the time of this collection. "I Believe In You" and "Danny Boy" were recorded with the Monty Budwig and Shelly Manne trio lineup and issued originally on Empathy.
