Clean Head's Back In Town (Eddie Vinson Sings)

Out Of Stock

Add Item to Want List
LP (Item 23813) Aamco, 1957 — Condition: Used

Classic King R&B material from Vinson, featuring some great backing by a surprising amount of jazz players! The album includes playing by Frank Foster, Joe Newman, Charlie Rouse, Ed Thigpen, Freddie Green, Paul Quinichette, and Nat Pierce – and the sound owes a lot to Joe Turner's work with Basie. Titles include "Cherry Red", "That's The Way To Treat Your Woman", "Kidney Stew", "Hold It Right There", and "Your Baby Ain't Sweet Like Mine". (Original blue label pressing with deep groove. Vinyl has a few marks that click. Cover has some surface wear, a split spine, some splitting on the top and bottom seams, and some pen on the back.)  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
