An excellent single from Manu Dibango! The material's recorded a bit later than his "Soul Makossa" hit, and it's got more of a dancefloor sound – but it still draws heavily on African percussion, and has a great sax-heavy groove! "Big Blow" was kind of a hit – but "Aloko Party" is less familiar, and every bit as nice!  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

To be honest, "Loosey's Rap" sounds like Rick James is trying to imitate mid 80s Prince or the Time, but the "raw rap mix" has more spare production by Marley Marl and actually has some decent rhymes from Big Daddy Kane and Roxanne Shante. ... 12-inch, Vinyl record
