Do The Thing/The Man Is Lonely

Temporarily Out Of Stock

Add Item to Want List
7-inch (Item 8369) Riverside, Mid 60s — Condition: Used

Excellent early soul from Lou Courtney – very much in a Northern groove! "Do The Thing" begins with a rolling piano line, almost Motown – but Lou's vocals are rawer, and really make the track come on hard! "Man Is Lonely" is a vamping number with a catchy groove too – and Lou's vocals again are very very nice! (Label has a peeled spot from sticker removal.)  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
