A warm and wonderful old school sort of samba project – one whose music really fits the playful image on the cover! The style here really takes us back to the best samba sets from years back – lots of acoustic percussion getting things going at the bottom – but also some surprising use of horns over the top – almost funky at points, with a tightness that brings a whole new dimension to the music – some soul and punch that's a great addition to the sound. The set sports some great guest vocals from Seu Jorge and Wilson Das Neves on a few cuts – and a guest appearance from Paulo Moura on clarinet. Titles include "Magia Do Samba", "Sai Dessa", "De Cachimbo", "Minha", "Na Sua Boca Um Dia", "Conjunto De Baile", "Forrobodo", and "Ze Do Caroco".. (Ouch!
