The Roger Corman-Phil Spector year of the mighty Ramones! End Of The Century is a huge departure from the 1-2-3-4 burst and roar of the first 4 Ramones albums – a big ol' Phil Spector production – recorded concurrently with the filming of late 70s hottie PJ Soles dancing around in her underwear with a shy and shell-shocked Joey in Rock And Roll High School! Lord knows that End Of The Century was the end of the Ramones as we knew and loved them on LP (they remained great live until the very end), but it holds up very well and the big sound brings a smile. Plus it's got "Chinese Rock", worth the price alone. Other tracks include "Do You Remember Rock'N'Roll Radio?", "I'm Affected", "Danny Says", "The Return Of Jack & Judy", "Let's Go", "Baby, I Love You", "I Can't Make It On Time", "This Ain't Havana", "Rock N Roll High School", "All The Way" and "High Risk Insurance".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Project 3, 1968. New Copy (reissue)
A really dreamy bit of sunshine pop from The Critters – probably known best for their minor hit "Mr Dyeingly Sad", but sounding even better here on this obscure second album! The record's got a very groovy feel overall – mostly written and totally produced by lead singer ... LP, Vinyl record album

Heads Up
Liberty, Late 60s. New Copy (reissue)
Heavy rock from a group who definitely live up to their name! The Heads work in a messed-up mix of late 60s rock styles – all pretty straightforward, but with elements of soul bubbling underneath a heady brew of psychedelic guitars and darker production. The set was put together by George ... LP, Vinyl record album

Transformer
RCA, 1972. New Copy (reissue)
Lou Reed's fantastic early solo LP – melding the aloof, plaintive vocal performance style he perfected with the Velvets and unbelievable sharp songwriting with the vamped up, fuzzed out guitars of Mick Ronson, some symphonic touches, and the guiding spirit of Ziggy Stardust era Bowie. Jazztime, 1961. New Copy (reissue)
The only full album ever issued by tenor player Rocky Boyd – but a set so great, it's definitely made a name for him over the years! Boyd's got a wonderful tone on the set – sharp and soulful, with an approach to the tenor that almost reminds us of early 60s Jackie McLean – ... LP, Vinyl record album

Time, 1959. New Copy (reissue)
One of the most fantastic hardbop albums of all time! Tommy Turrentine was the less-famous trumpet-playing brother of Stanley Turrentine – but he was a hell of a player in his early days, and he cut some amazing records with his brother during the younger years of his career. This is the ... LP, Vinyl record album
