Two great mixes from the Shangaan Electro project – both very wild and wooly, and taken to a degree that's even more mindblowing than the original album! Demdike Stare uses lots of electronics on the first side – shifting dark and light, somewhere between mid 70s Kratwerk and Throbbing Gristle – and Hype Williams is more dubby on the flip, but with spacey overtones on the vocal refrains that are mighty nice.
