Blue Note Presents The Italian JobVarious
CD (Item 603928) Blue Note (Italy), 2010 — Condition: New Copy
A rich range of sounds from the contemporary Italian scene – all artists who currently record for that country's branch of Blue Note Records – arguably one of the hippest branches of the labels in recent years! Italian Blue Note's been doing a great job of late – bringing together both older Italian players who finally get a shot at recording in a top-level setting, and younger players who really seem to bring a new energy to the label – using bits of classic modes, recast – in ways that give Blue Note a bit of energy from Schema, Deja Vu, and other labels in the Italian indie world! Titles include "Doctor K" by Flavio Boltro, "Kosmopolites" by Paolo Fresu, "In Cielo In Una Stanza" by Milestone, "Zoogami" by Fabrizio Bosso & Javier Girotto Latin Mood, "Follow The White Rabbit" by Funk Off, "You've Changed" by Fabrizio Bosso, "Moto Perpetuo" by Paolo Fresu Devil Quartet, "Epilogo" by Giuseppe Emmanuele, and "Five For Fun" by High Five. © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
