Susan Sings Songs From Sesame Street

Out Of Stock

Add Item to Want List
LP (Item 468101) Scepter, Early 60s — Condition: Used

One of the hippest records from the Sesame Street scene – a set of tracks that all feature vocals from the lovely Susan – aka Loretta Long! The tunes are all early gems penned by Joe Raposo – who also arranged and produced the set – and although done for a kiddie show, there's a sense of poise, class, and subtle soul on most numbers that goes way beyond their use on the show. Titles include "ABC Song", "Here Are Some Things That Belong Together", "Children", "Happiness", "Draw Me A Circle", "Right In The Middle Of My Face", and "Happy Talk". (Cover has masking tape on the top & bottom seams and some tape on the spine.)  © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc.
