A hip new set from the Timmion label – a bit of a change from their usual deep funk offerings, but still plenty funky nonetheless! Juhani work in a blend of hip hop production and funky instrumentation – a style that reminds us of some of the best Memphix singles from a few years back – with a similar sense of darkness in most of the grooves, and a simple, economic approach that really makes the work stand out from most other efforts like this.
