The early 70s psych synth travels of Tangerine Dream! At this early point, the group is soaring from thick, eerie layers of organ atmospheres, to far trippier synth washes – and with some pummeling, drum-heavy passages. Alpha Centauri is a bit of a formative effort, but a worthy one – as Tangerine Dream is developing their own unique realm of the cosmos. Slow-building tension pays off with dense, riveting peaks! Includes "Sunrise in the Third System", "Fly And Collision Off Comas Sola" and the long "Alpha Centauri".
