An Italian police soundtrack from the 70s – but one with a decidedly more whimsical feel than others in the genre! The main theme here is mighty nice – a sprightly little melody that bounces along beautifully with just the right blend of keyboards and light orchestrations almost recalling some of the more playful moments of Italian scoring of the late 60s! Other cuts flow out in variations of that tune, plus some other new themes too – often with this kind of jaunty little energy, sort of a 70s update of Nino Rota modes – warmed up a bit with more electric instrumentation, to offer up some cool instrumentals you'll no doubt be humming for weeks.
