Blues & The Soulful Truth
LP (Item 14599) Flying Dutchman, 1972 — Condition: Used
One of the hardest to find of the original Leon Thomas albums – and one of the best! Includes the excellent cut "China Doll", which, despite it's slightly offensive racial tone, is a sweet groover with a nice Eastern feel to it. Other tracks include "Boom Boom Boom", "Gypsy Queen", and "Shape Your Mind To Die". All tracks arranged by Pee Wee Ellis – who gives the album a slightly more funky sound than usual, something that brings out a lot in Leon's unique voice! (Original pressing. Cover has some wear, small stains, and a bit of pen.) © 1996-2013, Dusty Groove, Inc. | |||||
