Northern soul treasures from Lorraine Chandler on a sweet 45 from Outta Sight UK! "I Can't Change" is a great uptempo Detroit groove to it, a great track co-written by Jack Ashford, the percussionist for The Funk Brothers. A great, Motown-worthy cut that was actually recorded for RCA. The flip is great version of the Bond theme "You Only Live Twice" – we love us some Nancy Sinatra, but we'd love to hear this version in the flick instead!  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Early work from the great Joe Simon – working here with the group of Johnny Heartsman, in a style that's a lot jazzier than in later years! Jimmy Preacher Ellis is way more than happy on this great groove – surprisingly righteous at points in his lyrics, which are served up with this raspy vocal that sounds especially great when it's trying to stretch out and wail – supported by a snapping snare in the groove, and some ... 7-inch, Vinyl record

A very physical groove from the Mighty Mocambos – one that has the band starting out with a tight funky strut right from the start – and bouncing nicely with a bit of bongos underneath the bass and drums! A killer single from The Notations – one that has all the sublime harmonies of their Twinight work, but a slightly groovier feel overall! "That Girl" has this wicked guitar part that really gets the groove going – and the group's vocals more than step into line too, by ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
