The bass is right out front in the picture of the band on the cover – and it's also right out front in the sound of their music as well – helping to drive the rhythms of this Turkish combo with a rolling sound that's almost funky at times! Bunalim hail from the same Turkish scene as Erkin Koray – and the group's founding bassist also played on Koray's classic Elektronik Turkuler – a record that's quite similar to this one with its mix of Turkish roots, psychedelic roots, and trippy production! And although the group is represented here with material recorded over a 3 year period, with a shifting instrumental lineup – there's still a core sound that's really unified, with plenty of great Andalusian elements in the mix! Titles include "Basak Saclim", "Bunalim", "Tas Var Kopek Yok", "Yollar", "Yeter Artik Kadin", "Guzel", "Ayrilik Olmasaydi", and "Bir Dunya Da Bana Ver".  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Sondor/Lion, 1970. New Copy (reissue)
An amazing little record from the free-thinking scene in Uruguay at the end of the 60s – a strange mix of styles, but a brilliant one too! Limonada only ever cut this one record, but it's a real masterpiece – a blend of 60s beat group instrumentation, candomble rhythms, and some of the ... LP, Vinyl record album

Ardent/Fantasy, 1974. New Copy (reissue)
One of 70s rock's finest moments – the second album from Big Star! With Chris Bell out of the picture, one could successfully argue the traits lacking from the first album, but this thing stands up as work of genius all its own – with a raw, shambling immediacy to the songs that cuts ... Church of Anthrax (180 gram pressing)
Columbia, 1970. New Copy (reissue)
An avant pop/offbeat classic from John Cale and Terry Riley! We'll be fast to admit that Cale's solo stuff don't always float our boat – but this collaboration with minimalist composer Terry Riley is nothing short of an amazing. It's an album of mostly long modal instrumental tracks (with ... LP, Vinyl record album
