The hard-to-find soundtrack for the first Planet Of The Apes film! The record has a nice mix of dramatic orchestral scoring with some other tracks that have a cool jingly jangly noisy sound. Jerry Goldsmith did some great work for this one, and the album has a cool gatefold cover with images from the film, plus "commentary" by Charleton Heston (gun-loving bastard!) Titles include "The Clothes Snatchers", "The Cave", "A New Mate", "No Escape", and "The Revelation". (Original white label promo. Spine has a small bit of tape, and back has WGN letters.)  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.
