A sweet Okeh rarity from the Seven Souls – a cut that bounces along with a groove that's right up there with the bigger Chicago soul issued by the label – that gentle swing that always played big in the Windy City soul scene of the 60s, topped with great harmony vocals from the group! "I'm No Stranger" is a bit more jaunty – almost funky, if we say so ourselves – with this guitar that gets great and groovy right at the start, before launching the tune's great vocals off on a tightly soaring riff.  © 1996-2014, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Music Merchant/Outta Sight (UK), 1972/1973. New Copy
The Just Brothers serve up a mighty great groove here – a tight-stepping, guitar-driven instrumental that's almost like a 70s take on instrumental Motown modes from the 60s! The flipside features Eloise Laws on her classic "Love Factory" – a soaring stormer that never gets ... 7-inch, Vinyl record

Tramp (Germany), 2005. New Copy
A heck of a great little party – even without the Hot Pants! Guy Morris grooves it here in a stone James Brown mode – socking with the bass on the beats, and really going for a heavy sound overall. The tune's incredibly catchy – somewhere between sock boogaloo soul and deeper ... 7-inch, Vinyl record

Love the drums on this one – all skittish and snapping at the beginning – really setting the scene perfectly for the Afro Funk-styled horns that top off the tune and really set the tone! The track's like some lost Nigerian 45 from the 70s – and given excellent production to ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
